One of my favorite parts of my Saturday calls w/ NFL teams are the travel tales. The Rams aren’t in their usual Indy hotel tonight. Why?
Most the hotels were booked before schedule release because of GENCON — the annual BOARD GAME CONVENTION— being held in Indy this weekend!
I’m flipping through channels and notice The Shawshank Redemption is on. I’m like “cool”. It was probably an hour in. Gets to a commercial and I’m like “commercial?” Pulled it up on HBO and plan to watch the whole thing from the top. For like the 42nd time.
@tylertringas Credit groups / credit interchanges do something similar based on receivables aging. Chargebacks would probably fall into that. Outside vendors typically handle them to avoid anti-trust issues.
idea: equivalent of uber rider rating but for online purchasing. buyers who repeatedly buy digital products & chargeback or do other shady stuff can get dinged by seller. Eventually sellers can set a minimum rating threshold to buy... crazy?
I’ve seen a few “acting [position]” profiles pop up on LinkedIn lately, and it reminded me of a slightly upgraded version of a few years ago when people started listing “brand evangelist for [company that definitely didn’t give you this role]” and I’m in - acting badass at life.
