The answer is usually: they don’t. That’s why the argument keeps reaching for god. Without god, it has to name the actual harm, and “two adults exist near my theology” sounds ridiculous in daylight.

For Trinitarian there is almost nothing which would satisfy them and nothing which will cause them to accept their doctrine is false. Even if Jesus said, "I am definitely not God," we can easily imagine what Trinitarian response would be: "Jesus just meant he was not the Father."

Does God actually exist? Natural causes explain everything without the need of a supernatural. Which means, if there is a god, then: God had to specifically go out of his way to design the world to look exactly like a world without God in it.

Why do some Christians not understand that atheists like me are atheists NOT because we "want to sin" (we don't believe sin is real) or don't want to know a god, but just we aren't convinced that a god exists? Why can't they understand those reasons?

Christians love saying, “The Quran copied the Bible.” Meanwhile the Quran gives accounts of Jesus the Bible never even mentions. Baby Jesus speaking from the cradle to defend Mary when she was accused. Child Jesus shaping a bird from clay, breathing into it, and it coming to life. So the question is simple: How is the “copied” book the one preserving miracles missing from the earlier text? At times the Bible feels less like the full story and more like a version that passed through too many hands.
