When the Bears interviewed Dan Quinn in 2022, they flew him to Chicago in coach. As a current NFL executive said to me today, 31 other teams either bring you in on the owners jet or they charter a plane. Chicago wouldn’t even pay for a first class ticket. @dabearsblog Yes to all 3. However, despite historical trends, I have a tough time seeing any of the top3 WRs on the board at 9 unless a DL skyrockets. NE, Arizona, NYG, and Ten all need WRs. And while 3 of those teams need a QB, there's only 1 worth taking in the 3-7 range.

On 2/1/24, I think… • …Bears will take Caleb Williams with first pick, and so does the league. • …there will be market for Justin Fields, and a trade should net the Bears a second rounder. • … not trading out of top pick doesn’t guarantee Bears trade 9. They love the WRs.

There’s a fire lit under Justin Fields right now, and I love it. Chalk it up to a slow start, bad competition, whatever. Fields looks rejuvenated in this one. He’s making good decisions with the ball, and his throws are accurate. This is huge for him. #Bears

Two massive TDs for the #Bears with fantastic downfield blocking. Justin Fields used his legs to get out of the blitz, Khalil Herbert ran tough in space, and you saw Whitehair and Carter blocking well in space. Fantastic start for this offense.
