We're a couple of hours away from the first LA28 Summer Olymnpic Games ticket drop and at the same time, at least two marketplaces will launch LA28 ticket resales, Stubhub and Gametime at the same time. These are not part of the LA28 verified resale that will launch in 2027...

I'm sympathetic to the fans, don't get me wrong, but the A's haven't averaged more than 11,000 a home game since before the 2020 pandemic season. I covered it for all of my 51 seasons as a baseball writer. It's so sad on so many different fronts.

This is patently untrue. The A's made the playoffs six times in nine seasons from 2012 to 2019, and the pandemic season aside, averaged around 20,000 at the Coliseum in the bottom third of the AL.

I mean cmon, how pissed are you if you were an Oakland A’s fan? You went to games walking through barbwire and addicts. The stench of weed and urine. Your luxury in the bathroom was using a trough. Then Vegas builds the park you could never do. They add fine dining with a steakhouse and all the nice amenities you’d expect from Las Vegas. I love it and if you’re an A’s fan wow what a come up you’re getting. 2028 BABY!
