@CardioFixer 👍👏 Good for you, I have been riding for 60 years, can't imagine NOT riding. Started on dirt bikes in the Mojave Desert, now I stick to the road on my Harley. A Ninja 500 is a good starter bike. But definately try to get some lessons, and LEARN your motorcycle.

My birthday hits in a few weeks, and I’ve decided what I want to buy myself: a sport bike of my own, and the skills to actually ride it. I’ve already got all the gear from passenger days… helmet, jacket, gloves, riding boots, the whole “don’t die” starter kit, I don’t want to belong to the “donor cycle” club. I already have a lead foot, so I figured a Kawasaki Ninja 500 would work for me, plus I don’t want a lot of power between my legs, I want to ride, I don’t want to die. 🤭 Yeah, I know, I’m full of surprises. 😂 Don’t worry, y’all, this ain’t a midlife crisis and it’s DEFINITELY not menopause. I’m just an adrenaline junkie and I always have been. This has been on my bucket list for years, only life, kids, and adulting just kept getting in the way. Nothing’s holding me back now. I am a real woman turning 55 and living my life the way I want. 😎
