I am on @stitchfix @stitchfixmen So far, I am a fan. But in the recent order I selected nothing as it was all synthetics and athletic wear. I wrote them this note on why I rejected everything. -- Not into athletic fashions. Not bad, per se, glad it's been explored. But not at all interesting to me. We can move on. I view fashion through a binary lens: Fiat and Real - where Fiat encompasses artificial aesthetics, synthetics, childish colors, 80s neons, candy, fast fashion, logos, and digital-native disposability: high-time-preferences. Real focuses on heritage materials, traditional construction, and time-tested silhouettes--while giving a nod to technological modernity, which is real: low-time-preferences. Think legacy luxury versus contemporary luxury. The goal is to consistently select Real, as it represents distinctiveness, generational knowledge, class, intelligence, and enduring value rather than global homogenization, trend-chasing, and NPC brainwashing. We have all seen the memes online of a picture of Kerry Grant walking the streets of NYC, in a dapper suite, juxtaposed against a picture of some zoomer in a puffy jacket, sweatpants, and beat up sneakers with the text "Men, what happened to you?” Choose Kerry Grant every time.

@stitchfixmen I bought FLAG & ANTHEM Oakland Slim Straight Fit Stretch Jeans. I've worn/washed them about 3 times. Today the button busted. It pulled out of the waistband completely! They are not tight or strained on me, shouldn't I expect these to last more than three wears?

@stitchfixmen 2 years almost 3 of data and you thought I would like this? What part of my "business casual" usual does this fit in? And $99? It reminds of my time in the military. My whole fix revolved around this too. ugh Beyond disappointed. I returned my whole fix as a result

@stitchfixmen I appear to have received two different emails two days apart alerting me that my fix is on the way, both with different tracking numbers. Only the second tracking number shows in my account.
