A coworker died yesterday morning😭. HR knew by 9 :00 AM, but they kept us working all day. They finally told us around 4 :30 PM, then had the nerve to say, "You can head home early if you need to"—knowing we all finish at 5: 00 PM anyway. This morning, it’s back to "business as usual." Some of my friends are literally sobbing at their desks, but they’re expected to work and be productive. No time to grieve. It’s a cold reality. Within a week, the company will have his job posted online. Within a month, someone else will be sitting in his chair. But his family ,his children will still talk about him every day, they will ask where is daddy , His wife will mourn him for ages ,he was the love of her life . At work, we are just a "resource" that can be replaced in a week. At home, we are the world. Stop giving your best energy to a desk that will forget you, and giving the "leftovers" to the people who never will.

Your phone disappeared.. You opened Find My Device from the laptop. "Last seen: 3 hours ago.. Location: So-and-so Street." After that? No updates.. The device went offline. The thief immediately turned off the internet.. Classic move. Back in the day, that was the end of the story. Now? No.

@kerubo_hillary Daima is for those who go abroad or something like that. Ukiwa locally there's no need for that. Just load your account with airtime every three months and you're good to go

There's a service called Daima you can activate for your sim card to remain yours for about 2 years Daima service allows prepaid customers to keep their lines active for 6 months to 2 years without topping up I will keep adding to this list for those interested

Apparently Safaricom suspend your sim card if you don't load airtime on it for a minimum period of 3 months It doesn't matter whether you've been transacting on Mpesa or even making calls with it I didn't know about this until today.

Hey @Safaricom_Care @SafaricomPLC what’s the point of sending me my MPESA statement with phone numbers redacted?! 😳 How is it useful? The document is password protected, a unique code. Even banks don’t redact anything in the statements they send us….

Some oil marketers are resisting KRA’s plan to integrate fuel stations into e-TIMS due to installation and maintenance fees. KRA says the system helps track sales in real time and curb tax evasion in Kenya’s Sh1 trillion petroleum sector.

To, The drivers of Public Service Vehicles [Matatus], Our children have been released for mid-term break, Drive them well, Take care of them while on the roads, Bring them safely just the same way the teachers gave you, Don't allow them to mislead you into speeding the vehicle or pumping up the music, These are children, mind their safety. Adhere to traffic rules and respect your office [the matatu], It is rainy, the roads are wet and slippery, Be patient and focus on getting to the destination safely. We pray to God to give you the journey mercy as you bring them home, May God bless you for this difficult task of carrying passengers on our chaotic public roads.

The Alpha Generation boys [ages 2-16] are primarily from broken families. Go to Senior School and observe the Grade 10s who have just been admitted. • They talk like girls • Giggle and chuckle • Shuffle feet when talking to teachers • Gesticulate like girls • Complain and whine • My mother this, my mother that • Walk so feebly • Speak with a feminine tone in womanese language • Low self-confidence These are mostly the children of millennials. Millennials are the "educated illiterates" who abandoned their traditional roles because religion, academia and the media told them a man and a woman are equal. Do you see the consequences? Broken families and a messed-up generation of boys. Men, there is work ahead of us. To shape these boys into responsible, productive and masculine men who will abandon the misbehaviour of their millennial parents.

This is Edwin Gathigi, 19, from Matuto Village, Mukurwe-ini, Nyeri County. Edwin was sentenced to life imprisonment after his grandmother falsely testified against him, committing perjury by alleging that he had defiled his 7 yo cousin. The accusation was later proven to be entirely fabricated after a successful appeal. His auntie, the mother's sister, decided to punish her sister by jailing her son because she caught her trying to seduce Edwin's father. After years of injustice, Edwin has finally been released today from King’ong’o Maximum Prison, following sustained public attention and advocacy by journalist Simon Kibe. We wish Edwin all the best as he begins his life anew. Can those who testified against him be sued?

@ignyharaz2 Big lie. A token of KSH. 100 translates to 4.1 units max. The only way 4 units can last a month is if there's a blackout daily.

Yesterday Dr. Duncan Ojwang said Kenya power Don't make profits from Rural power consumption. Because the cost of bringing the power from a station to the household is more than the consumption. In rural sets up , a token worth ksh. 100 bob can last even more than a month because it's majorly used for lighting and charging a kadude phone. No fridge, no TVs, cockers. And most of them have bypassed the system hence using free electricity. That's why they over tax the urban set ups to compensate for the money lost. I agree 💯

Instead of wasting your 1-acre piece of land planting maize, Plant NAPIER GRASS. 1-acre can hold 1,550 rectangles of napier grass. Each rectangle measures 1 m × 0.75 m, [and 3 feet depth], spaced 1 m lengthwise and 0.5 m widthwise. In each rectangle, you will harvest 2 heads of napier grass every 3 months. Each head is sold at KES 200. Therefore, 1-acre can return KES 300,000 in 4 - 6 months. This can go higher during sunny seasons [December to March]. Invest in an effecient drip irrigation system and a well. No unnecesary pesticides, storage losses and labor costs. Maize farming is a useless subsistence venture with a negative return on investment. Luhyas, wake up!
