@LeahRain77 I live in a 55+ in AZ. Our rule is 55, by law, they have to let a certain amount of people younger than that but our bottom floor age for living in our community is 45.

This is happening in Jacksonville, Florida at a 55+ community. A 28-year-old girl was living there with her father who was ill when he passed. He gave the home to his daughter, and she wants to remain living in the community.. well the HOA has decided to enforce the 55 and over law, and is asking for $1000 from 155 members in the community to sue her to get her out of the neighborhood because she’s 28 years old, not 55+. In my opinion, this is despicable. These HOA‘s have way too much power. This sh!t has to stop.

@stnoel1966 I couldn’t afford surgery when I injured mine. I just was careful not to use it and it healed itself. It took about a year.

Let’s try out the new algorithm. I’m having rotator cup surgery next week. Who else has had this surgery? Tell me how bad it’s going to be.

@stnoel1966 It stinks like any surgery but it did help me. I take longer to heal but was great after 9months but it was feeling better than previous pain after 3-4 months. DO THE PT!

@RebelDebel1 I heard about the nerve block wearing 😱 My Dr said I could lay down if I could get comfortable, I know that isn’t happening, so the recliner it is.

@stnoel1966 She's in the last stage of physical therapy. The pain is minimal now. When her nerve block wore off, it was really bad. She wasn't allowed to lay down to sleep, so be prepared to sleep being propped up.

@BestBoatTech Actually, my tear is only 1cm, but my Dr saw something else goin go, my bicep is detached and he saw a bone spur.

@stnoel1966 Depending on how severe it is. Tears can be partial/minimal or complete. A complete tear is extremely painful and makes it damn near impossible to do normal tasks around the house/property. Hopefully your surgeon is squared away and does a good job.

@stnoel1966 It’s extremely painful for the first week but gets better fairly quickly after. Biggest challenge I had was training yourself to not use it until healed. I was shocked how much you use or move the surrounding muscles not even realizing it. Good luck.

@Puckstop69 That pain pump sounds wonderful and yes, hoping to not get frozen shoulder from the six weeks.

I had it a couple years ago. People claim the pain is horrible afterwards but my doc gave me an infusion pump of meds that would continuously pump into the line they put in my neck. It lasted 5 days post surgery and I never really had pain. 6 weeks in a sling is the toughest part. Pt isn’t too bad. I was surprised how much range of motion was lost though. Takes a while to get it back

@RickMcgachey I’m already scheduled and ready for PT. My husband told me to make sure to take a pain pill before I go and he doesn’t like taking pills.

@Howler1961 That’s what the husband is for, he gets to dress me and shower me, he doesn’t mind 🤭

@BestBoatTech It’s been four months since I fell and it’s damn near healing itself.

@stnoel1966 I had it on my right/dominant shoulder after my third Iraq deployment. I was 29/30 then so recovery was fairly easy. The physical rehab was mainly light weight/reps and wasn't too difficult. Just be real careful picking things up/doing things until it heals.

@RebelDebel1 I hope your daughter’s recover is going well. I’ve had quite a few nasty surgeries so I’m hoping this one isn’t too bad, but that not what I’m hearing.

@stnoel1966 My daughter had it done 4 months ago. Sorry to say, but she said it's the worst surgery she's had. Prayers for you 🙏

@Abomination81 Here I’ve had a full hysterectomy and lost my ability to have children and I only get 50%, guess it’s time to get back in there and make some changes.

Found out, my wife's friend gets $4100 disability from the military, for PTSD... for her boss yelling at her. No joke. She was a lawyer (JAG) and said she suffered PTSD from getting yelled at so much, and it gave her tinnitus. That combo gets her "disabled veteran" status with 100% disability. The world is shit.

@stnoel1966 @SusieM414141 My first thought was are these some of the Salt River horses? A friend on fb posts a lot of pictures of the horses. Up close like this they even more gorgeous, bet it was incredible in person.

You just know this was a cool experience for anyone in the water or on land witnessing it. Feral horses just passing through.
