On Tuesday, April 21st shortly before 11pm an acereage owner just north of Pilot Butte spotted and pursued a pickup truck which they had just seen dump a load of garbage in the ditch. Pictures of the event show a truck and trailer displaying the company name, “Dhami Construction” based out of Regina. Today, the owner of Dhami Construction, Sukhman Dhami, confirmed with us that it is indeed his truck and trailer in the picture, but said, “That picture of the garbage is fake.”
We then dispatched a garbage truck which confirmed the existence of the garbage pile and noted tire marks at the scene which are consistent with a truck and dump trailer.
When we confirmed with Dhami the garbage pile was indeed real, Dhami then denied that the pictures were taken near each other. We confirmed from the images’ metadata that both pictures were taken mere minutes and meters apart.
We removed all 3,637lbs of debris and found in it a Home Depot receipt which we gave to law enforcement. RCMP and the Conservation Officer Service is investigating.
It appears Dhami Construction has since taken down their website.

The University of Regina is doubling down after their professor of Queer Studies in Education, Dr. j. skelton, went viral online for comments about supporting trans kindergarteners. The president of the university has sent a “Message of support and inclusion” to all faculty and staff.
Dear Faculty and Staff,
As we approach the end of the semester, I want to acknowledge that this can be a particularly busy and stressful time. Competing demands can take a toll, and it is especially important that we take care of ourselves and extend care to one another.
You may be aware of extremely disrespectful and inappropriate commentary circulating on social media targeting a member of our University community. While we do not wish to amplify or legitimize voices of intolerance, we acknowledge the harm, distress and impact this commentary has caused. I want to be clear that the sources sharing content do not reflect the values of our institution.
Our institution values the diversity of perspectives, identities, and experiences that enrich our campus community, and we foster an inclusive environment where all members feel welcomed and supported.
Thank you for the care you show our students and one another. If you need support at anytime, please remember that resources are available on campus and you are encouraged to reach out.
Yours sincerely,
Dr. Jeff Keshen
President and Vice-Chancellor

An Edmonton resident has been charged with fraud after police say he was altering odometers on used vehicles purchased through Facebook Marketplace and reselling them at inflated prices.
Harmandeep Singh Bindra, 39, faces charges of fraud and uttering a forged document following an investigation that began in March 2026.
Police allege Bindra has been buying high-mileage Nissan Altimas, Honda Accords, and Honda CRVs on Facebook Marketplace since March 2025, rolling back odometers by hundreds of thousands of kilometres, and listing the vehicles for sale under a fake Facebook account.
Investigators say he also provided buyers with false CARFAX reports to back up the fraudulent readings. He is known to use the aliases Hary Smith, Harry Singh, Harmandeep Singh, and Gurdev.
