My 14 year old nephew is on the spectrum. Loves video games (I hate this) but wants to design video games/world build (I am into this). Looking for a young video game programmer who’d wanna “tutor” on the side. Once a week. Toronto. Irl /not online. Does this idea make sense?

@AS_12239 The ways Banjo-Tooie has missions that require you to go back to a level to complete it. Like feeding the cavemen food from WitchyWorld but you need the ability from Grunty Industries to complete it. Love that stuff!

Every time I leave a @wearephoenix show my jaw is on the floor. They have become underrated at this point. The attention to detail in their stage production is so above and beyond. They are ageless. Long live!

@rob_sheridan @DefectorMedia As a Torontoian this hit so close to home it's sad. I hit over 100 "sets" (including reasonably accessible festivals) mid 2010s now I hit about 30 if I'm lucky. Bands I used to see for $20 now $60 and some of them have passed their 'peak' demand but the price goes up?

It's believable to a certain extent. I can do it if I enjoy the books I read. I accidentally finished house of leaves in two days, and I think it was around 700 or 800 pages. It also depends on your reading speed. Most people voice the words in their heads while reading. Your brain is more than capable of digesting and understanding words without having to voice them in your head. ever seen those videos where lots of words flash by your screen really quickly, but for some reason you still read them? Just do that with reading and your reading speed will increase astronomically.
