@Mattylantz This has been devastating for my tv-before-bedtime performance.

@LeahTCodes Escapism from all the work already on the plate. And agents honestly have made this worse. Before, I could at least put myself off because of the grunt of the work to start anew. Now I don’t even have that excuse.

@joshmanders It’s good that the grass is getting cut. These duds out themselves for free.

@CoenJacobs I do feel of course for the person in the story but it does feel absurd that we hand out such powerful foot guns to people without ensuring the most basic competency. Like, yeah, every interaction with the model is stateless so it does need the entire world posted every time.

This is why deterministic code still is very important and agents just add an intelligent layer on top of it, where needed. This is also why I’m a firm believer that Claude Code loops are a significant costs overkill for 99% of what they’re used for currently.

@christophrumpel Ok a single codebase I can follow a couple of features (alternatively 3/4 issues). And I can do a couple of codebases. But again, what’s the point in unleashing these swarms. It’s still me that’s gonna have to (at least pretend to) review everything

@jordankdalton @christophrumpel That’s wild! 😅 more curious than about the How i am about the Why

@christophrumpel I’ve ran as high as 12. After just 4 I quickly realized I was the cog in the wheel.

We’ve all gotten stuck some time or other in writing, programming, designing, *something*.
@IanLandsman says AI might be the cure for that—offloading the stuck moments so you can pick back up with momentum instead of starting over.

@pushpak1300 In fact I do believe this is a harness problem. I rarely run into these things via api. (So much for vibe coding Claude Code)

Got this just a few minutes ago. Ps. This type of sh happens daily. Not even the first time today.

Opus 4.7 is literally unusable at this point -> switching to gpt-5.5 as primary model now.

Andras Bacsai@heyandras
i made a new app for myself (will be open sources ofc) from my phone with Jean. it is not a simple one but also not the most complex, but it would took days because it needs different platform integrations. it is working after a hour. and count in that i am typing on a small virtual keyboard what time to live in
