I spent a whole day visiting the Seattle daycares featured in my @NRO article with @abigailandwords about inexplicable spending by @waDCYF . Most did not answer when I knocked. If there were children inside, thick curtains blocked any natural sunlight for them. Neighbors were unaware of daycares a one-minute walk away. Confused residents said that they had no knowledge of a daycare at their address, to which Washington State paid nearly $500,000 last year. WA State Attorney General Nick Brown said that he would focus on prosecuting journalism like this instead of investigating welfare fraud. The State Auditor stated that DCYF records are so bad that millions of dollars over the past four years have been un-auditable. This violates the terms of their federal funding. Let me guess, you'd rather just have zero lockdowns, leading to massively frontloaded spread that would have overwhelmed the hospitals infinitely more than they already were. You literally just wanted people to die.

@ZaidJilani I think it’s worthwhile to try the image based approach. It simplifies the system, so there are fewer things that can go wrong with the system itself. It does lack the spatial awareness lidar gives you of course. There’s just gains to be had by solving the harder problem.

@peldothu @elonmusk Using your number, Per million votes, 0.0006% is 60, or if there’s 200mil voters in the US, 12,000 are fraudulent. Which is low but could’ve mattered in a tight race. But it’s then all the more reason to have voter ID, so results can be less questioned.

@mrandystevens @MsAshleyStubbs @wsdot Is it like an EREV though? Electric motors do propulsion, the diesel is just a generator? That does gain some efficiency, at least, with a constant rpm engine. Probably not worth the terrible costs though, I agree. Better than Inslee’s full EV ferries is all I’ll say.

@Rainmaker1973 Why are people so obsessed with schools teaching how to do taxes? Here you go: step 1) receive tax forms in mail. Step 2) take taxes to H&R Block. Or use turbo tax.
