The deal wouldn’t go through as the Crown refused to promise Penn religious liberty in the territory post-sale. There was also the issue that Penn, who signed papers without reading them, had signed over ownership of the land to an “advisor” (who also embezzled his money)

The irony in the name is that as a devout Quaker, William Penn himself would have practiced strict temperance!

This is huge. The American Bar Association is an illegal cartel which for some reason has been given the sole authority to determine who can be an attorney and who can be a law school. Its illegal monopoly needs to be nuked.

@TorbettBil45266 @WVUFLU Not always true. The 10th amendment grants states certain “police powers” that do sometimes conflict with federal law. Ex. States can legalize recreational marijuana, despite it being a Schedule 1 substance prohibited under the federal Controlled Substances Act.

It is a travesty to be violated by someone who should not have had access to you. On data, GIGO. We see time and time again that the inputs to the crime stats are deliberately incorrect. We cannot rely on the stats. However, using your stats, noncitizens account for 4.4% of the population and commit 4.6% of convicted child sex crimes.
