My first experience with P3 was playing Reload, and I genuinely adored every moment I spent with it. It genuinely sucks to feel like I’m expressing my love while repeatedly being told I do not love this series because I didn’t play the “correct version”

Truly sad and disappointing. End of an era This reminds me a convo I had with my chat, about most of us being the lucky generation to witness the evolution of video games (for me, from SNES/PSX to present) and how awesome it felt being there awing over things like cutscenes looking more realistic as we got new consoles, swapping discs playing certain games went to needing only one disc, making separate shelves for each consoles’ physical copy collections, lending it to friends and end up never getting it back…all great memories Now “evolution” just feels like “okay what are they gonna take away from us next”

Let's assume, for argument's sake, that Nithya Raman really did, unlikely as it seems, got to second place in the LA mayoral race. The problem is that many, many, MANY of us simply cannot believe it. It seems for all the world like fraud. This matters, & is going to matter more.

Alexia 2, while very beatable in a straight DPS-health race scenario (which is the way most casual players beat Resident Evil bosses anyway), is a true example of 'attritious game design'.
The parasites were unnecessary, as all they're there for is to punish you sitting in the far corner. One can deduce that the point of them is to reach you in the corner where the tentacles can't reach you.
But they spawned way too many of those as a stopgap for the poor zone balancing, instead of simply making Alexia spit acid at you more often and raising the damage of the spit.
If I have to ask myself "can I please play the fucking game" while being stunlocked by 3 different attacks simultaneously, then the design can be considered attritious and therefore bad.
