They are fucked. Forced to stick with what they know until everybody realizes what they know is obsolete. Ford will survive through the F150 for a while, until they don’t anymore. Part of why Tesla made it through the chasm is because Elon corralled a bunch of autistic nerd investors who were willing to let him cook while they got rocked. Farley has to answer to your boomer dad who can’t even setup his new iPad without calling you over to help him figure it out. Next gen of investors are willing to forego short-term gains to let the builders they invest in go full-send with their tisms.

Based on market share, Stellantis has 2.7x more dealers than their domestic competitors. Something has to give.
