@MobofJoggers I also like they way it nudges over and makes space for lane-splitting motorcycles, making it safer for them

One thing I really like about FSD 14.2.2.5 is that it gives more space between other cars and big rigs on the highway.

I love asking questions to this awesome Tesla community! Anything I’m not sure of gets answered so fast. And no, I don’t care if it’s a dumb question… I’ve never claimed to be otherwise! I wanted to know if my PCS was the most current version, so I asked 𝕏. @LamarMK had my question answered almost as fast as I typed it! (Thanks again) Checked my invoice and there it is! T2-G! I’m up to date. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. At worst you learn something new, and at best, many people do! And yes, I complain about my windshield wipers at every service spot I’ve ever been to 🤣🤣🤣

@MarkTurner0920 @DavidMoss I think the key issue is the powerful Gen3 RAP chip in “R2v2” There’s no upgrade path and RAP is likely to get the most dev cycles and attention

@DavidMoss 1. The current hardware will still be capable of point to point autonomy and possibly eyes off. 2. A lot of people just don’t care about autonomy. 3. Just get a lease. 4. You are a Lidar salesman. Your takes come off as highly biased.

@RivianUpdates * … and Tesla remains eligible under 2014 rules * with the before-2026 rule, Slate dropped the ball * with the BEV-only rule, Scout dropped the ball These rules reflect a strong dealership lobby that produces direct-sales friction 🚙

Washington State has approved a bill allowing Rivian and Lucid to sell vehicles directly to customers in the state. The law keeps traditional dealer franchise protections in place for legacy automakers, but creates a narrow exemption for EV manufacturers. To qualify, a car manufacturer must: - Produce only electric vehicles - Have at least 300 vehicles registered in Washington - Have operated at least one service center in the state before January 1, 2026 - Have no franchise dealer agreements Because of those requirements, the exemption literally only applies to Rivian and Lucid.

The R2 is gonna sell well and I’m excited. I’m stuck between Borealis Purple and Catalina Cove. Esker Silver is also an option.

@MyTeslaMoonship Great point. For people with limited mobility, the Model Y is much easier to get in/out of. One of my concerns about the Cybercab is that it is too low, has no grab handles, and will be difficult for people with limited mobility

Probably the biggest reason I prefer the Model Y over the Model 3 is the ride height. I don’t like falling into cars and I don’t like feeling like everyone can drive over me. 🤣

@cybrtrkguy mabye there is a pattern we can find. In addition to wheels/tires, also report if AWD vs Beast And, has anyone noticed if ANC makes a noticeable difference?

@mahkus I hope they sell well - very nice price point and great design. As a tech enthusiast, a key objection to a Launch R2 is no upgrade path the the Gen3 architecture with the RAP chip, just a few quarters away. Most normal people won't care - but I do 😀

R2 is very compelling. It checks a lot of boxes for us. My thoughts as a Model Y owner: -Limited to the black interior. No thank you. Advantage Tesla -Much better use of space than the Y. Rear window lowering helps too. But still 5 seater, so not a huge upgrade there. Advantage Rivian -We own FSD on the Y. Autonomy+ is early on and will likely get better, but quite a disparity there currently. Also no LIDAR as of yet. Advantage Tesla -Still 400V limited, so charging will be equalish to the Y. Hopefully has a beefier charging curve than the Y. Equal but leaning towards the Rivian -4400 lbs towing vs 3500 lbs on the Y. With plans to get a travel trailer, we'd still be taking the Cybertruck to tow. Equal -10-20% more range on the R2. Advantage Rivian -Pricing - I really like where the R2 comes in. I think it fits. But still looking at quite a bit more for R2 vs Model Y and cheaper models are years away. Advantage Tesla. I like the R2 a lot but I don't think it'd be worth it to upgrade from our current Model Y. What are your thoughts?

The Cybercab appears to use unusually large wheels and tires for a sedan. 225/60 R21 Larger wheels and higher tire sidewalls typically improve comfort and durability; however, they sacrifice handling. This makes sense, where safety and comfort will be the most important. Just another reason why you shouldn't use just any vehicle for a taxi.

@IanWestOfficial unclear and confusing : * why only list dimensions in "Launch Edition" * semi-active suspension is not listed in Launch section * Is Premium just listing differences? Does it have Matrix LED ? * are all the charging curves (29min) and packs the same?

@congressdj The reality is that there are many that will never try FSD, Autopilot, or even cruise control. As long as they're fully liable, they want full control - so, I understand their reluctance. I think there's hope for Unsupervised FSD, though 🚙

@TeslaPatriot Yes - font size (and Bold) option should be there. There's no reason for a keyboard to take up the full width of the screen, and all keys should have borders like the bottom row does

Can somebody tell me why this critical interface has unreadably tiny font size and needless space between? Are there any members of the UI team that are over 40? (Note that the screen is too far for reading glasses and too near for distance glasses). Can we get a font size option for all displayed fonts?

Help please. I’m doing some work at a relative’s house. I want to leave the vehicle unlocked because I’m constantly going in and out loading and doing stuff. Every time I walk in the house the lock sound is so annoying. How do I leave the vehicle unlocked when it’s not home?
