This is some TOP LEVEL gamesmanship. Just got a text message from an old golf buddy... Anytime he was playing for money, he would never offer to move his ball mark if it was in your way. When you asked him to move it, whatever direction you would say, he would start to move his mark in the opposite direction. When you corrected him, he would say something like "oh - I just assumed you would want me to move it this way. OK, I'll move it the other way." When people started to catch on to what he was up to, he would alternate moving it the "right" way and the "wrong" way. Now his opponents were trying to guess what he was up to. It was like a game of chicken trying to figure out what he was up to. He was living rent free inside so many people's heads.

@rory_fans Need to address the elephant in room. Rory lacks the killer instinct . Don’t get me wrong , he’s top top tier but lacks that killer X factor when needed . His career will go down as one of great should of beens.

Hit so many amazing shots throughout the week at clutch times too. Just too many errors in the end. At the end of the day it’s a tournament for reps and there’s a lot bigger events to come. Hopefully we can put that down to rust and he keeps the ball striking and sharpens up❤️
