2025 has been merciless. My 84-year-old mother broke bones in multiple accidents, spent the entire summer in and out of hospitals, suffered a stroke, and is still far from recovered. In the middle of all that, my brother (her older son) died suddenly. And today, the latest news: my wife just lost her job. We no longer have a stable income, and I can’t take a “normal” job right now because I’m her full-time caregiver. I’m not giving up. Together with my partner @ZannaKonda, we submitted what we believe is one of the most adoption-friendly proposals in Cardano’s Fund15 (“Cardano Use Cases: Prototype & Launch” category). If it passes, it will become a real engine for new users and builders. More details very soon. In parallel, I’ve been quietly building tools that actually solve problems. The latest one is a portfolio/performance tracker I’m really proud of: beautiful calendar-style views, strategy planning, benchmarking... everything an investor needs to make better decisions, or just play with strategies like it was a sandbox game. It’s the kind of product that can be monetized quickly and cleanly... if it reaches the right people. And that’s exactly where I’m terrible: marketing, outreach, growth loops, landing pages, content, paid ads... all of it. I can build the Ferrari, but I can’t drive it out of the garage. @Fabopolis Non solo negli USA: credo sia un esempio di sunk-cost fallacy nel quale incorrono molte persone. Tra gli elettori è un atteggiamento molto diffuso, dato che troppa gente vota per tifoseria a prescindere dai programmi elettorali

Trump al 41% di approvazione. Cala, ma non crolla. Perché? Perché negli USA il voto non è più soltanto voto. È identità, appartenenza, tribù. Per molti repubblicani rompere con Trump non significa cambiare idea su una policy. Significa tradire il proprio gruppo, smentire il proprio mondo, ammettere di essersi fatti ingannare. E quasi nessuno lo fa facilmente. La dissonanza cognitiva fa il resto: si razionalizza, non ci si ricrede. Poi c’è la bolla informativa. Media diversi, fatti diversi, verità diverse. Se non esiste più un arbitro comune, il leader non viene giudicato per quello che fa, ma per il campo che incarna. Attenzione però a una banalità opposta: quell’84% repubblicano di consenso non è un monolite indistinto di “razzisti e violenti”. Dentro ci sono identità religiose, ansia di status, sfiducia anti-establishment, mondi periferici che si sentono assediati. Ma sarebbe altrettanto idiota negare che in pezzi importanti del trumpismo pesino eccome autoritarismo, risentimento razziale e crescente tolleranza per derive anti-democratiche. Il vero segnale, infatti, non è dentro la tribù ma fuori: tra gli indipendenti Trump è già a picco. Il problema americano non è solo che Trump resiste. È che una parte enorme del paese vive ormai in una realtà informativa separata, dove l’appartenenza conta più dei fatti. Ed è questa la frattura che fa paura.
