@Heeker448609 @cbkwgl @MDhanwankar I'll stop now. Now you are up to mumbo jumbo. Seeking is a lifetime activity. True seeking changes person from within. Plot a timeline of history (maybe from 1000 to 2000). Start with good curious questions. Find real answers to those. Take your time. Come back in 6 months.

Of the four religions which faced Islam, two collapsed, one abandoned the field and fled to safer grounds, and only one stood its ground, though severely mauled.

@Suhelseth Each evm is a standlone collection of votes. Technically, all one needs to do it to connect all to a hub and upload the counts and total. Politically, that will be a disaster as it'll lead to lots more conspiracy theories. The current architecture ensures credibility.

Asking a naive question : if we have EVMs and so on, why do we have to wait so long for the results? Isn’t there a tech available that can upload results to a CPU on the day voting ends?

@Heeker448609 @cbkwgl @MDhanwankar Where ? In Aus/UK/Canada ? How many whites have become Sikh ? The Sikh faith, like all Sanatan, is geographically rooted. Remove the historical context and the geography and the edifice comes down because there's no foundation. Again, please de-Abrahamize and genuinely seek.

@subhashishdutta @cbkwgl @MDhanwankar Guru Nanak spent his entire life studying various religions as he finetuned Sikhism . This included at least two years in Islamic Arabian peninsula especially Mecca . Sikhs actively seek to convert by spreading word of Waheguru .

@Heeker448609 @cbkwgl @MDhanwankar I'll again try and make you aware of your lens (and by extension the worldview it shows you). Words like "converted" and "baptized" again betray an Abrahamic frame. Please think this up from first principles and with questions driven by genuine curiosity. Be a real "Seeker".

@Heeker448609 @MDhanwankar @cbkwgl 2/2 - my larger point is Sikh is a "panth" (another way), but the starting point is Hindu. Its a continuation with changes. A key reason the Sikh panth started (in as recently as the 1500s), is to save the Hindu way of life from Islamic takeover. It started as a bulwark.

@Heeker448609 @MDhanwankar @cbkwgl 1/2 We'll have a better discussion if you avoid straw-manning. With your points about dieties, rituals etc you are arguing against arguments I never made. Also, that way of arguing betrays an Abrahamic frame of looking at religion - god, prophet, book and negation of many things.

@Heeker448609 @MDhanwankar @cbkwgl You seem to be discussing in good faith. In that case, instead of cherry picking, please take a larger sample of shabads and see how many times Krishna is mentioned. Please also look at the imagery of Guru Nanak ji from the early times and you'll see the tilak in all images.

@MattooShashank @GhoshAmitav Admired you for years, relished on your books (I’ve read them all). But never did I get a suspicion that you’re also one of those superiority-afflicted Bengalis who want to sound different only for the sake of it.

Amitav Ghosh: India has completely lost its way diplomatically. Modi was hugging Netanyahu in Israel just before the Iran war. This stand is not popular in India. Journalist: Can you really say this stand not popular? Or is just not popular with your kind of people?

@Heeker448609 @MDhanwankar @cbkwgl Not correct. You are either misinformed or agenda driven. Start with asking a basic question - what does the name Harmandir Sahab come from. What is Har-mandir ? Then we'll go into more, one step at a time till you see the light (assuming you want to).

@MDhanwankar @cbkwgl Nonsense . Multiple times, Sikh gurus and scriptures have clarified that Sikhs are neither Hindus nor Muslims . It is a unique monotheistic religion which completely rejects teachings of holy Quran , Vedas and Puranas ( Hindu scriptures) , idolatry, fasting etc .

The Cultural difference between Indians and the white People.. He is Heinrich Klassen, He earns around 30 Crore from IPL every year. He earns around another 8-10 Crores from other Leagues. He is currently in Hyderabad with his Wife and Daughter. Today, he wanted to take his family for a ride and he booked an Auto . He could have easily hired a luxury car for his family but he still chose to travel by auto in 40 Degrees. In India, if someone earns 10 Lakh Per month, He/she will never sit in an auto because that may hurt their Status in the society!!

There is one news story that I will never forget in this lifetime. It is about a man named Avijit Sarkar. He was the first person to be killed by the TMC after winning the 2021 West Bengal Vidhan Sabha election. Minutes before his gruesome murder, Avijit Sarkar took to Facebook to narrate that he had been surrounded by a mob of TMC workers. He did not know what was written in his destiny on that fateful night. Look at the date - 2nd May 2021. This was the last time Avijit posted on Facebook. In the following weeks, TMC workers killed a dozen more people as part of a coordinated wave of political violence. But the story of Avijit Sarkar never left my mind. Avijit was holding a puppy in his hand and narrating his ordeal. At that point, he did not know that he would be killed. I was tasked to translate his dying testimony from Bangla to English so that non-Bengalis can know his story. Bangla is my mother tongue, and every word he spoke captivated the anxiety that a man experiences when his life is in danger. While writing the news report, I broke down several times because I knew what happened after the video ended. It was a traumatic experience. Death has always been a triggering subject for me. The fact that I was new to this industry and that I was already suffering from mental health issues made it worse. It has been 5 years since that incident. Tears have dried up, but not the rage that continues to stir inside me. This is why I have taken a pledge. As long as I am alive, I will make sure that the story of Avijit lives on. I will leave you with something I wrote in my diary back then - "Ek din bichar hobe. Ek din sasti hobe, adalat e na hole rastai" ( One day, there will be justice. One day, the perpetrators will be punished, either in court or on the road).

At the risk of being called an elitist, Macaulayputri etc etc, can’t help pointing out that India Today TV reporters are repeatedly saying “casted” their vote. Surely there are people in that channel who can correct them? Or does grammar simply not matter anymore? @indiatodaytv

@RoseTint4 I liked the movie then but always felt the riot angle was deliberately injected and didn't quite fit in. Later, it all made sense. @konkonas was at the forefront of the "kagoj keno dekhabo" bridage during the CAA "agitation".

A few people told me they barely see my posts anymore. Maybe I am not writing enough/Maybe I am not writing what the X algo wants/Maybe the platform now rewards noise over nuance. Hard to tell, but the recent changes feel real. A few suggested, I try Instagram. I have never used it, so I am a bit skeptical. But if that is where the next gen is, maybe that is where our science heroes should be too.
