It has a better rating and more backlinks than all my sites in the first 2 years of building startups. 3 lessons: 1/ Get backlinks - List your site for free on platforms like ProductHunt - Email people for a backlink when relevant - Purchase a directory of backlinks, like Backl(dot)io by @philkellr 2/ Set an affiliate program Affiliates make money. You make money and get free backlinks. I use @getRewardful for my program. Note: your product must have a good conversion rate. 3/ Build your own backlink directory Build free tools, link back to the main domain, launch & repeat. Some tools will take off and get referenced in popular newsletters or sites. Months later, you'll have built an ecosystem of high-ranked sites you can use to kickstart new projects. Finally, be patient. SEO is a long-term game; results take 3-6 months to appear.
