@ronsterd89 For the amount of product, time, and effort to restore your curtain, I recommend buying a new one.

@richontech I have one more toilet paper holder business card if anyone is interested

Here’s the problem with digital business cards.
I tested all types. QR code someone can scan off your phone screen. NFC style tap cards. Text message that sends recipient your vCard.
The problem with QR is connection and action. Some folks don’t have an active internet connection. Fine. They also have offline cards too. Problem is it brings up a web page and the person on the other end must take action immediately. Many apps also try to be their own mini CRM platform.
If QR is successful, do they follow you on Insta? Twitter? Add your info to their address book? In a crowded conference like setting people don’t have the time to make this decision instantly so they put it off and the web page with your info becomes a tab they forget about by end of day.
Downloading the vCard is better but then you go right into their address book. But who remembers to look up every person they added to their address book. Not me.
The best solution I found is an app that will text the recipient your vCard which is handy because they can deal with it later. But it comes from a random text number that they can’t text back to. Or if they do you don’t get it.
Scanning LinkedIn QR code? Then you’re beholden to their platform and it doesn’t always contain contact details.
Bottom line, I want to love and embrace the digital business card. But the reality is stuffing a card in your pocket and fishing it out at the end of a long day is still the best way to connect with someone new.

@richontech Too cool! I wonder if those people you interviewed are following you and say, "Hey that me with Rich DeMuro!"

@richontech @evernote I heard you mention Evernote on several occasions. I tried it but kept going back to the combo of Google Keep (grocery list reminder by 'location') and @msonenote. I'll give Evernote a try again

resubscribed to @evernote and life is just so much better. I tried to use a free notes app and it just wasn't cutting it. I feel back at home and more productive than ever.
