Congress ditches dmk. Will align with TVK. End of the INDI alliance with DmK.

Except Congress, all other alliances partners of DMK have arrived at @arivalayam HQ in Chennai

🚨 South Indian states Karnataka : INC govt Telangana : INC govt Kerala : INC+ govt Tamil Nadu : INC + TVK govt?

The 5 seats congress was able to win in this elections was due to DMK. When the BJP/RSS was trolling Rahul Gandhi as “Pappu” it was our leader #MKStalin who declared him as the Prime Ministerial Candidate. Just putting things in a perspective.

தமிழ்நாட்டு மக்களில் மூன்றில் ஒருவர் வாக்களித்த ஒரு கட்சியின் பெயரை சொல்ல மறுப்பது அவர்களை அவமதிக்கும் செயல். This is feudalism. திமுக, அதிமுக மட்டும்தான் தமிழ்நாட்டை ஆள வேண்டுமா? நியாயமில்லை @mkstalin சார்

If INC pulls out of SPA goes with TVK then DMK will pull out of INDI alliance in the centre too . It was DMK who campaigned for the congress candidates in this election. I hope some sense prevails

Congress @INCIndia which has been faring poorly in Tamil Nadu has gotten its lease of life thanks to its alliance with the DMK @arivalayam. A transfer of DMK votes helped Congress get five MLAs in these elections. It is unprincipled of the Congress to dump its alliance partner after having used the DMK support base which enabled the ailing party to get its 5 MLAs. It would be sheer opportunism for the 5 MLAs to suddenly jump ship and ally with @TVKVijayHQ . It’s also interesting how the Congress “high command” has left the decision to join or not, to its Tamil Nadu unit. Why is the Congress high command escaping the moral consequences of its opportunistic strategy?

#WATCH | Delhi: Congress General Secretary (Organisation) K.C. Venugopal says, "...TVK president Vijay has requested INC for support to form a Govt in Tamil Nadu. INC is clear that the mandate in Tamil Nadu is for a secular govt, committed to protecting the constitution in letter and spirit. The INC is determined not to have the BJP and proxies run the Govt of Tamil Nadu in any manner...Accordingly, the Congress leadership has directed the TNCC to take a final decision on Vijay's request, keeping in view the sentiments of the state reflected in the electoral verdict."

TVK President Thiru Vijay has requested the Indian National Congress' (INC) support to form a government in Tamil Nadu. The INC is clear that the mandate in Tamil Nadu is for a secular government, committed to protecting the Constitution in letter and spirit. The INC is determined not to allow the BJP and its proxies to run the government of Tamil Nadu in any manner. Thiru Vijay has also spoken about drawing inspiration from Perunthalaivar Kamaraj. Accordingly, the Congress leadership has directed the TNCC to take a final decision on Thiru Vijay’s request, keeping in view the sentiments of the state as reflected in the electoral verdict. : Congress General Secretary (Org.) Shri @kcvenugopalmp

An interesting insight from @PradeepGuptaAMI on what makes the BJP the ultimate election machine. They learn doggedly from loss. Maniacal focus on converting the 75 seats they lost in #WestBengal last time with a margin of 10% or less is the difference between victory and defeat #Election2026 @CNBCTV18News @CNBCTV18Live
