This is being taken completely to what it's not. He's not saying he ONLY watched highlight tape. He's saying if a players best doesn't even impress you, why spend time on their worst or mediocre? Is it gonna impress you more? No. Done, wash your hands, move on. Again, people are backfilling their draft criticisms, at this point. Not having honest or grounded conversations.

@SulligentHUB It is proving your point, but that doesn’t make it wrong. There is a reason he wasn’t invited to the combine. I think he will be a good player, but I am skeptical. He definitely has a lot to prove. Fair or not.

The Kaelon Black bashing is getting insane. The kid is getting judged, not off his tape, not off his Sr bowl performance, not off his pro-day testing but off of Shanahan's previous 3rd round RB misses and a "consensus". This is wild.

@SulligentHUB It’s not really about Kaelon Black—it’s about the pick. Using solid draft capital on a RB in today’s NFL is questionable when it’s the most replaceable position. Teams get production there cheap every year. People aren’t grading the player, they’re grading the decision.

@SulligentHUB Kyle hasn’t done a good job of choosing running backs. Black wasn’t invited to the Combine. There is good reason for skepticism. Is it fair? Probably not, but life isn’t fair. It is on him to give us reason to believe. Hopefully, he uses it as motivation.

@SulligentHUB @StatsOnFire The cool thing about this draft is you can follow like 4 WR and compare them and how the Niner’s did. Concepion, Cooper, Stribling, Boston were all gettable by them.

This is exactly what im talking about. I've been watching the coaches film on these kids and forming my opinion. You've got a preformed opinion based not off the evidence you've watched yourself of their film, but off the 49ers drafts. Why should I listen to you, at all? You havent spent 20 hours this week watching film. I have.

@SulligentHUB the facts are though based off the last 4 drafts the Niners haven’t picked well so what makes this draft class any different. We don’t draft good at running back (we did it again) we don’t draft WRs with actual route trees ( we did it again) lol

No, people assume things are facts that are not actually facts. Unlike most people, I use facts to form opinions, not chase facts to support an opinion. People form opinions based off how a season or seasons did or didn't end and then chase anything to support that opinion. Case in point: this draft class. We haven't seen one single snap of these kids on an NFL field and there is already uproar over they picked. Why? Because people have opinions formed, not on the picks, but on the 49ers, so they assume the picks will be what they believe the 49ers do in the draft.

This is one of my biggest takeaways from De’Zhaun Stribling’s film The Ole Miss offense is a hard watch that felt like it had a 8 player rotation at WR and didn’t feature Stribling You have to hunt for certain things because their offense was limited
