SCr remains the primary clinical biomarker for monitoring of kidney function. It plays a critical role in the detection of AKI & dose adjustments for renally cleared meds, esp Abx; however, SC is neither sensitive nor specific for the early detection of acute decreases in GFR.

Dr. Allegretti named PI and @ProPharma selected as CRO for the first of two studies in our upcoming Adult AKI Clinical Study. The first study will enroll US patients with the goal of determining a cut-off point for severe #AKI risk stratification in adults. #ICU #clinicaltrials
