@sunsam

Illusions may not be real but they are powerful motivators.

@LOLrakshak @ajay43 But that 1 kilo dal gives you several meals as compared to 1 kilo chicken is a one time meal…

@ajay43 But that's the thing - to choose to be veg is a privilege. There are comments telling me how dal chawal is cheaper than meat. NO. Have you seen the prices of dal? 1 kilo chicken is cheaper than 1 kilo of dal. Poor people make do with the non popular meat protein.

Being vegetarian is a dietary choice. How does 'pure' come into it? At least vegans walk the talk. You can't preach about being 'pure veg' in a Mysore crepe silk saree. The ghosts of 10,000 silkworms touch your skin. Come join us sinners, we're very inclusive.

Oh! I had no idea that it was an incorrect or derogatory term!
TheLiverDoc™@theliverdoc

I refuse to be part of any media report that calls scientific-medicine "Allopathy." Allopathy is not modern medical science or science-based (or evidence-based) medicine. It is a derogatory term created by the inventor of Homeopathy, Samuel Hahnemann to sell his BS idea of like cures like and all that garbage. It should not be used synonymous with current scientific medical practice. "Allopathy" died when Hahnemann passed away and is now mostly used by the alternative medicine industry or its (Ayush) practitioners to demonize realistic scientific care - which includes spreading science-denialism, chemophobia and fearmongering patients on "side-effects" of modern medicine. Everything has side effects. Modern medicine has side effects, but the dose and duration that is beneficial is well known and studied. There is useful information on how to rationally and sensibly use medicines for patients. Ayush (alternative medicine) has side effects, but also, no known benefits. Its basically risky medicine and the patient is gambling with life or death. There is no information on dose, duration, effects, interactions in the human body other than the imaginary uses based on nonsense theories and untested observations written in ancient texts of the pre-scientific era. Allopathy is a business term, that misleads patients and caregivers away from appropriate healthcare and print/visual/social media news outlets must refrain from using this absolutely stupid & obsolete term.

@ProfSumathi @nitti23a But he’s not average!! That’s normal. You should not even say that he is average. He’s a loving child who will make a good life for himself and family. Please do not call him average mom.

Mother of an average child: Yes, you read it right. I am the mother of an average child. By average, I simply mean my child is the average learner, average in scoring marks, average in sports and in extra curricular acivities. What's special about him then? 1/10

I was watching sky sports cricket live, women’s match between India and West Indies being played in East London today. Literally only 10 people in the stadium!!! Such a shame, women are still not given due respect in 21st century?? Come on sisters show your support…

How is this even possible?? Clearly she’s a talented artist. But to paint 15 portraits at once is more than art—it’s a miracle! Anyone located near her who can confirm this feat? If valid, she must be encouraged & I’d be pleased to provide a scholarship & other forms of support.

@akshaykumar @KirenRijiju @iTIGERSHROFF @SDhawan25 I believe It’s about time the stars spoke only in Hindi in commercials or social media, stop smoking/alcohol abuse in movies and stop slapping! People watching movies follow stars blindly.

@gaana Is this a joke? We’re premium members but access to all our saved old songs have disappeared since last month without explanation. If we try to cancel they do not refund the remaining amount!!

@bpaliwal @SiddivyaKishore @MsRiyaMukherjee Is there some action we as subscribers can take against Gaana for disrupting the services without a warning and now they will not refund if we want to cancel? Newer songs are available all over but I enjoyed the golden oldies on Rretro!

Over 700 years ago, a nomadic tribe from Rajasthan realized that there was no fixed temple they could visit with their constant roving. They, thus, created temples that could travel with them which subsequently introduced one of the richest artforms of the country. A thread. 1/10

@MsRiyaMukherjee Thanks for the emoji. Where did you get it! I am so frustrated that I was going to ask Gaana to cancel my account फिर मैं डर गई, सोचा रिया को कैसे सुनुंगी फिर! I deleted the message and sat down to wait to get things back to normal. 😂

@priyaAM22 @MsRiyaMukherjee Seems like all the old songs before 70s are gone. I had a lovely long list of old songs that I enjoyed, along with Riyas retro. I’m hoping it’s some kind of glitch and they fix it soon.

What happened to ur collection... especially old songs. My playlists which I was creating since 3/4 yrs for my #gaanaplus account are suddenly lost all songs from it. It's pathetic, annoying and depressing. #gaana @gaana

@shivarko_writes Absolutely amazing writing. You’ve captured the essence of Gulzarjis thought process, vision and romanticism. Took me back to my youth and the simple life we lived. Thank you.
