Episode 7 being when the fog of love really starts to pass over Louis… I’ve never been more certain they’re going to drown us in romance and intimacy but also that Lestat is going to be snatched right from Louis’ arms… 🥲

@tardisemily mind you when he was different in s1 and s2 they also hated him but now when he shows human emotions they hate him even more, i guess they’re angry that he’s different from what they imagined, plus again some ppl here are aren’t familiar with sympathy

@dionyjinsus i feel like louis finally understanding that lestat isn’t invincible and that he’s broken too was one of the reasons why he offered lestat a life together, i think he fell in love with him even more after seeing his fragile side 🥺

vampiric power made him invincible in ✨all✨ ways and we’ve had the whole season demonstrating how wrong that is. louis is faced with that truth for the first time since the reunion and it’s so lovely how he immediately reaches for lestat in the face of it.

lestat turned into a blushing school girl looking at louis in awe bc louis listened, remembered, and did everything lestat mentioned earlier even though he said he wouldn't. small things like that make lestat so happy & they're communicating so much better i'm so proud of them.

louis is the first person to ever tell lestat it’s okay to cry. magnus and gabriella and everyone else in his life would hurt him and then insist upon him not crying. louis is the first one to hurt him and then hold him and let all the trauma come out
