I don't ask for anything from anyone most times. I make exceptions for prayer. Prayer works and God guides the hands of our doctors and nurses and treatments. Please , those who pray, pray for my wife. Tammy. She was just diagnosed with stage 4 colon and Liver cancer. Ty to anone that may add her. Prayer is strong in mass.

Alzheimer’s caregiving is exhausting, overwhelming, and extremely lonely. My world consists of taking care of my 89 year old mom 24/7 by myself. I am happy that I can take care of my mom, but I’m always sad, depressed, and isolated. I had surgery on March 19th, and now my incision has reopened because I haven’t been able to take care of myself. All you caregivers are not alone. We are in this together.

I was given three antibiotics in the last 24 hours since they do not know yet what type of infection I have until the cultures are returned. Doxy will cover MRSA, the ampicillin I got last night via IV covers meningitis and septicemia. Now I am taking more Doxy and Cephalexin to cover other bacteria as a backup. I have no idea how this got into my nose and sinuses. But I recall feeling “down” on Saturday while finishing my patio cover. I started having face pains on Sunday and did a telemed visit; he gave me the doxy. By yesterday I had a 101° fever, my face was swelling, and I was going downhill fast, so I went to the ER. I am feeling much better and the fever is gone. I unpacked the gauze from my nose where they went into the cut and that was painful.

Keep me in your prayers today I rarely question God, but today is one of the days where I’m just seriously mad at him and I’m questioning everything

Ugh. I had MRSA after having a C-section and it was in the incision. Be greeted by text and nurses and full hazmat suits was a little disturbing. I feel your pain brother. Heavy duty Antibiotics should be all you need. Surprised they’re doing surgery so it must be bad. I hope you get better soon.

I am in the ER feeling pretty sick. I had to shave my beard. They are cutting inside my nose to clean out a possible MRSA infection that has gone to my sinuses. My face is swollen and it hurts.

I am a practicing Catholic. Have been all my life, waaaayyyy over half a century. But I’ve had it with these damn popes getting political!! I couldn’t stand Pope Francis. 😤 We catholics are taught to believe that the pope is divinely chosen. That he is infallible. But I’m sorry, this one and the last one are hardly infallible. 😒 I had hopes for Leo but I had also heard that he was a liberal early on. Already, I can see he’s no better than Francis.
