@hasufl why do u think the custody level capture was underestimated? I think it was:
1. custody/financial layers were valued at a premium
2. The multitude of validator designs weren't penalized for the capture risk by anyone but CT

@VitalikButerin The bitcoiners are weirdly wrong on this. PoS works! Obviously. The relevant line of disagreement is the moral/normative one. Should a global money be PoS based - does it better protect against capture etc. that is where the interesting and pertinent debate is.
