The gospel is a story of rescue; it is only rescue…through and through! The best of us need rescuing and the even the worst of us will not be left behind. It is a tale of the relentless love of God rescuing all humanity (and the cosmos itself!) from its bondage to corruption.

to be a prophet is to be attacked, mocked, maligned and rejected; they will cast out your name as evil to be a prophet is to respond, not vengefully or in anger, but in the spirit of christ, fearless yet forgiving

In relation to belief in cosmic redemption, if I am to be considered a heretic, then so be it. In my defense, I cannot be blamed if Christ, as Logos, King and Savior, has so filled my vision that I can no longer see hell as I once saw it.

of course — this is not how the kingdom works — but from a socio-cultural perspective, this is undeniable
