@mattvanswol I had that happen with the brother of a man that got a DUI. Couldn't conclusively prove that it was either man, so advised arrestee that if he was lying, he was getting charged with Criminal Impersonation. Shocker-He was lying. I helped clean it up. Lazy cop there. Shame!

A North Carolina TEACHER AND FOOTBALL COACH, Kendrick Gonzalez lost his entire career... ..because his childhood "best friend" got arrested for a crime... and told the cops HE was Kendrick Gonzalez. The cops pulled up the DMV photo, saw it wasn't him, and they used his name ANYWAY. Now the REAL Kendrick Gonzalez, a North Carolina teacher and football coach, has a "criminal record" for a crime that happened almost TWO HOURS from where he lives... that was committed by his FRIEND He found out he had a "criminal record" when HR called him during football practice, in front of his kids and staff and they FIRED HIM. He lost his entire career. The City of Charlotte just filed a motion to dismiss his lawsuit because: "a DMV photo not matching the suspect's face isn't "conclusive" proof it's the wrong man..." ...sorry what???? So... anyone can ruin your life by giving the cops YOUR name instead of their real name? THIS IS INSANE!!!!

This mother is catching some flack because she said she sits on the opposite side of the parents on her son’s baseball team. Looks like the outfield. She said she can’t stand the constant chatter and lingo - “Good eye!” , “You got a piece of it.!” , etc. and all the talk in the bleachers. Many put her down saying she is not a team player as a parent. But some others said they agreed with her. I am with her. I usually sat down the line on first or third base. I want to watch the game and not chatter all night and listen to moms and dads coach their kids from the stands. Or all the gossip. I totally get it. Do you understand where this momma is coming from and feel like she does or do you think it’s rude of her to disassociate with the other parents during the game?

@mitchellvii Because most nursing homes and rehabs are staffed by warm bodies that have little training. Been here, done this with my Dad. You have be there DAILY and ask questions and be a PIA to make sure they do what they are getting paid thousands to do. It was horrible!

How does the nursing home administer her medicine for 20 days and not notice that there are no antibiotics? The level of incompetence is incomprehensible. How does the hospital that did her operation fail to notify the nursing home that she needs to be on antibiotics?

SISTER HEALTH UPDATE: Unfortunately this one isn't good. After my sister's heart surgery she spent 20 days in a nursing facility where she could do rehab. Apparently someone screwed up and the hospital did not send instructions for them to administer antibiotics to my sister for that entire twenty days. Now she has developed a serious infection in her wound and they may have to go in and operate again. She's back in the hospital right now and they're very concerned. It's unbelievable that someone could be sent home from open-heart surgery with a quadruple bypass and nobody administered antibiotics. The nursing home itself did not notice there were no antibiotics. Now my sister is in a fair amount of trouble. Please pray folks. 🙏😢

@BuzzPatterson We did kind of the same thing - only here on Colorado. Rafting on Clear Creek past Idaho Springs, we could smell the BEST B B Que coming from Smokin Yards. We got off the river and went there for lunch. It's a must if you're in the area!

My wife, Nichole, and I are on a roadtrip. We’ll have to take some video! Today, we drove up CA 395 from the south. I love these Sierra towns! We stopped in Bishop, California and I popped into a BBQ shanty. I could smell the smoke a couple miles away. Among the best pulled pork I’ve ever had. And I’m from North Carolina.
