16 years ago today, Hezbollah attacked two IDF vehicles on border patrol near Zarit with anti-tank missiles. At the same time, Hezbollah fired massive mortars and rockets along the northern border as a diversion. Five IDF soldiers were killed.

@AviKaner My family ran an experimental desert reforestation project for the state on our tree farm, and we ran buried lengths of hose from our well to the trees. We used vampire taps. There were valves to run the water to the different sections in turn. This was in the early 1960s.

@tekaldas The IDF said it would not open a criminal investigation. There is no evidence that a criminal act occurred. The IDF is still investigating the event, as a military event, not a criminal event. Do try to tell the truth every now and then, please.
