@jennyleeshee I’m originally from NL and go home every summer. We went to Fogo Island last year and stayed in a beautiful Air B&B that was much more affordable. You can visit the Fogo Island Inn and take a pic for free 😉

@CoryJudson @OCT_OEEO How about moving their office into a tiny unventilated portable or a classroom with no windows?

Ontario College of Teachers have a building on Bloor Street w some of the most expensive real estate in Canada. Our annual fees going up to $200/yr after other significant increases. @OCT_OEEO doesn't need more money, they need less, much less. Say NO to this fee increase!

@breakfasttv @maritstiles will be an incredible leader. She actually cares about education and realizes that it is an investment rather than an expense. I’m thrilled she’s the new leader!

@Sflecce @fordnation All anyone has to do is visit any school and see over crowded classrooms with no support to prove this is a lie. You are’t fooling anyone with your made up BS.

@jennyleeshee I do when my 29 kinders leave. My class is loud and busy so I find it to be the calm after the storm.

If Loblaws can find the money to pay its CEO $5.4 million. I think maybe, just maybe, it can afford to pay workers a living wage.

Asked about ballooning emergency room wait times for children, Health Minister Sylvia Jones said it was “Deeply disturbing” but that the issue is “Not new” she pointed the finger at prior governments.

Lost another chunk of followers. If you don't want to follow, no problem! However, if you do, double check you're still following. Hearing of a bunch of unknown unfollows. Also,if I'm not following back, let me know!

@breakfasttv Although as parents we are happy to have our kids in school today. We should be very concerned that CUPE workers did not get a fair deal. This means there will be less supports for our children in the future. Ford and Lecce are destroying public Ed every chance they get.

@Sflecce Mr. Lecce I would love for you to visit our kindergarten class and see the amazing things my DECE partner does everyday in our crowded class of 29. Our school is in your riding. You might actually change your perspective on how valuable our Ed workers really are.

@ColinDMello So Lecce doesn’t have money to improve learning conditions for students (an ed workers working conditions are a child’s learning conditions) but he has money for bribes and free daycare? He should be ashamed of himself. #IStandWithCUPE #FireLecce

While we know kids deserve to be in class on Monday, we have a plan should CUPE proceed with this unnecessary strike. Our plan ensures the continuity of learning for kids, expanded supports for parents, and free child care for critical healthcare workers.
