In a moment that gave everyone goosebumps, Jemimah Rodrigues stood tall and spoke from the heart — not about victory, not about fame, but about legacy. As she addressed the Hon’ble President of India and everyone gathered, Jemimah reflected on the unsung heroes of Indian women’s cricket — those who played without money, without fame, without recognition… but with pure love for the game. Her words weren’t just a speech — they were a promise. A promise to carry forward the legacy started by the women who came before, and to leave the team in an even stronger place for generations to come. This isn’t just about cricket. It’s about every dream sown years ago that’s finally blooming today, she said. Watch the full clip. #JemimahRodrigues #IndianWomensCricket #WomensWorldCup #CricketIndia #BCCI #WPL #PayParity #IndianCricketTeam #WomenInSports #CricketLegacy #TeamIndia #BleedBlue #Inspiration #SportsSpeech #ViralSpeech #CricketLove #WomensCricketIndia

Poor soul has clearly never had a good one. A truly great idli is a cloud, a whisper, a perfect dream of the perfectibility of human civilisation. It's a sublime creation, a delicate, weightless morsel of rice and lentil, steamed to an ethereal fluffiness that melts on the tongue. With the right accompaniments, it is the culinary equivalent of a Beethoven symphony, a Tagore sangeet, a Husain painting, a Tendulkar century. To call such a thing "regret" is to have no soul, no palate, no appreciation for the finest achievements of South Indian culture. I can only feel pity for @Molutty_writes and @SassyDopamine !

@SassyDopamine Dosa? No words, just respect. 🙏 It's idli that tastes like steamed regret 😭

It's an absolute scandal and tragedy that India is forced to spend $250m/year to provide access to the latest science to its people. A complete and total failure of global science leadership and of science writ large.
Niko McCarty.@NikoMcCarty

Indian gov't is buying a subscription to 13,000 academic journals, and then making them all available to "18 million students, faculty, and researchers" for free. The cost is $715 million over 3 years. It includes Elsevier, Nature, and AAAS. Have any other countries done this?
