Imagine being a brand-new pilot for a small Cessna and seeing all those fighter pilots waiting for you to land, so they can take off. Don’t worry—they started that way too! I don’t doubt they respect what you’re doing!

@cymg769 @BuzzPatterson Depends on the configuration of the galley and the airplane type/size. I’ve seen some only have closet space for 1-2 FA bags and the rest have to go in the overheads. There are also some where there is no space at all because they don’t have a closet

@BuzzPatterson I was on JetBlue and it was definitely aircrews bags because several times during the flight they opened the overheads to retrieve items from carry ons which I thought was odd. I did think they had other areas to store their personal items. Thank you for your answer though.

Tips from an airline pilot: Don’t crowd the entrance at the gate. Board with your zone, otherwise it slows everything down. Likewise, when you get to your seat, move into your row to stow your bags. Again, it slows everything down if you don’t, especially for those sitting in the back. Don’t drink the water or coffee. The water tanks only get cleaned out occasionally. Bring your water and coffee onboard. The tones you hear are just the crew communicating with each other. Use your AirPods or headphones as much as you can. It’ll make the flight infinitely quieter. Exit rows can be a great seat with extra legroom but not all exit rows are created equal. The rows immediately adjacent to the emergency exits on most jets don’t recline. Turbulence is normal, expected, completely safe, and all aircraft are built for it. It’s not in any way, shape, or form, dangerous. It may be uncomfortable but that’s the worst that can happen. Aircraft malfunctions and emergencies happen from time to time. Trust me, the crews have been trained ad infinitum on it all. Over and over again. Bottom line, we want to get home to our families and friends too. Any questions? Pilots want to get home too….

Reminder that the #Raiders still have $29.7M in dead cap space from the Christian Wilkins contract 📉 Between the voided contract and the NFLPA grievance filed way back in July 2025, we’ve been stuck in a total stalemate It would be really nice to have that money right about now

@xenotoes @NoContextHumans He’s fallen multiple times. Me and my son were talking to him last weekend, he’s broken his collarbone, ribs and maybe his leg. Last fall he had almost a year off before he was back at it again.

At some point when reviewing plays, the league should consider adding a speed threshold for anything involving the element of time. When you slow plays down to 1/100th the speed, it distorts what actually happened and makes it look like, in this case, Cooks possessed the ball for seconds prior to losing it. The game is not played in slow motion or frame by frame. For a catch: A) Secure control of the ball ✅ B) Two feet down in bounds ✅ C) After (a) and (b) have been fulfilled, clearly performs any act common to the game (e.g., extend the ball forward, take an additional step, tuck the ball away and turn upfield, or avoid or ward off an opponent), or he maintains control of the ball long enough to do so. C is where there is a judgement needed since A and B are clearly met. Now consider this note to the rule: If a player, who satisfied (a) and (b), but has not satisfied (c), contacts the ground and loses control of the ball, it is an incomplete pass if the ball hits the ground before he regains control, or if he regains control out of bounds. Because Cooks did lose control of the ball when he contacted the ground and the ball never contacted the ground, it was ruled an interception by Denver.

@Turbinetraveler @Elwood_B__ Would the wake turbulence affected it on the ground? As long as the plane lands on the ground before the 767 started generating lift I’d say he’s fine.

@operaman86 @Jared_Carrabis That’s rich. Lookin at your PFP you need to hit the gym. That ball would have been a home run with different atmospheric attributes. It was cold and the marine layer set in. 22 balls were hit that hard and at that launch angle, only 1 was short by 2 feet.
