$2.11 a litre.
Let that sink in.
We have more oil than almost anyone on the planet, yet Ottawa spent years killing pipelines, burying refineries in red tape, and demonizing the very industry that could have made us rich.
Now Americans have us by the throat and Canadian families pay the price.
This is what Liberal “net zero” ideology actually looks like at the pump.

@Skynet_T700 @EricRStPierre You pay $300+ per month for car insurance!?!
Different vehicle and different province, but that's more than I pay for both gas and insurance combined per month.
English

@EricRStPierre You’re using a famous quote by Elon Musk. Yet you dish EVs. Weird.
I’m heading to work now. My 2020 Tesla will cost me $12.50 today. 10.50 insurance and $2 electricity.
Let this sink in

English

@gator_gum @ryangerritsen I noticed that too, but I think he was referring to the eye of round roast, which went from $6.49/lb to $11.99/lb.
English

@ryangerritsen That is a ground beef/pork combo which is always cheaper. The one on the right is all beef.
It's also a Christmas special flyer.
Yes, prices are up. Around the world. Acknowledge reality though, instead of blaming Carney.
English

Food basics flyers.
The left side flyer is from 2019 vs the right side which are today’s current prices. The difference in beef prices really stand out. Butterball Turkey is now $4.00 per pound.
Also 12 cans of Coke for $3.97, crackers for $1.67 & black diamond cheese for $3.75 are prices we will never see again.

English

@felixprehn I've been watching your YouTube videos.
Great context and explanations!

@LibOrNormal @JustinCParker3 You don't want to hear how David Lee Roth sounds nowadays...
English

@FLEXjss @FoodProfessor Revolution is 89 for 6 lbs and the flavours are amazing.
English

Here's proof Canada is phukked & our money is worthless.
Exact same brand, size and flavor of whey on Amazon US versus Amazon Canada.
USD $69 vs CAD $130
Exchange right now is 1.36, so it should cost about CAD $94
At $130 it is 38% more expensive, even with F/X.

@PaulyTremonte @JoeyTweeets I thought that at first glance too.
Nice profile pic btw 👍🏼

🇨🇦THE SLOW CREEP OF CAPITAL CONTROLS🇨🇦
1. FHSA - triple tax-advantaged, but only if you buy a Canadian home during an all-time bubble.
2. RRSP - the shelter dies the moment you leave. Withdrawals as a non-resident: 15-25% Canadian withholding plus tax in your new country.
3. Public Sector Pensions - most stay fully taxable in Canada at Canadian rates when you retire abroad. Treaty mechanics vary, but you're not skipping Canada's hand.
4. Cross-Border Cash - $10K and you declare. Fail to declare and CBSA can seize. 5-50% penalty to get the rest back. Suspected proceeds of crime? Gone.
5. Dividend Tax Credit - Canadian dividends get a massive tax credit (near-zero in low brackets). Foreign dividends? Full marginal rate, no credit.
6. Maple Eight Pensions - under CONSTANT pressure to invest your retirement domestically.
and now
7. Sovereign Wealth Fund - announced today. Canadians "invited" to fund cabinet-picked nation-building projects, fast-tracked through laws that override reviews.
I can't say this loudly enough - the gates are already almost closed on almost all forms of capital. This is just another example.
Start talking about this stuff. Canadians have no idea what they've walked into.

@Colleen_G2G @MarcPatrone Colleen, do you plan to buy more gas because the price went down?
Or, do you think you'll drive the same amount and spend a little less doing so?
Speaking of basic economics, are you familiar with the term 'inelastic demand'? (Note the common examples)

English

@MarcPatrone Embarrassing the Pierre doesn't understand basic economics. Driving taxes down will increase gas sales and thus gas prices. You know, supply and demand?
English

This is what happens when your hiring of on-air staff is based strictly on looks, gender, ethnicity, youth and ability to read a teleprompter.
The person who wrote that question doesn't understand that demand for gasoline would remain relatively stable in the event of a removal of the liberal fuel taxes. People generally drive as much as they have to. They don't waste fuel just because it's cheaper.
Marc Nixon@MarcNixon24
EMBARRASSING CTV claimed removing all taxes on gasoline would cause inflation to explode 🤯 Because of the increase in demand for gasoline Pierre Poilievre was SHOCKED AND I DON’T BLAME HIM WHAT A TERRIBLE INTERVIEW CTV
English

@TedDiBia5e @joonyor_eh @mario4thenorth I didn't ask for your ideas. I asked what he's proposing. You're not the leader of the opposition asking the government to give up an enormous amount of revenue.
English

@AEshquib @joonyor_eh @mario4thenorth They don't necessarily have to cut programs, as they certainly can spend more efficiently.
For one, they can stop trying to develop 'Apps' (at astronomical costs)...

English

@TedDiBia5e @joonyor_eh @mario4thenorth So what government programs is he advocating cutting to make up for lost revenue?
Seems like an important piece.
English

@HODL43Capital @mario4thenorth Gov't could just spend less (or better yet, actually spend efficiently) instead of printing money
English

@mario4thenorth Mario is such a dummy. Cutting taxes on leads to less revenue, which gets replaced through debt aka $ printing which results in inflation. Not too complicated buddy. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk 🙏🏽
English

@joonyor_eh @mario4thenorth Or the Gov't could decrease spending correspondingly with the decrease in tax revenues 🤷🏼♂️
English

@mario4thenorth well Maria, if gas taxes are lowered then government revenue falls, then other taxes (like income tax) go up which is inflationary - your kids have the dumbest fucking dad
English

@KirkLubimov He should have asked her if she plans to buy more gas and drive around extra just because the price of gas went down.
Or if she was going to drive the same amount as usual and just save some money.
English

@SternDrewCrypto Cool. Add it to the list of almost every other Apple item I've never bought (or never will buy).

🚨 APPLE’S SHOCKING PATENT EXPOSED: AIRPODS THAT CAN READ YOUR THOUGHTS AND MONITOR YOUR BRAIN IN REAL TIME!
Apple has filed patent US20230225659A1 for revolutionary earbuds loaded with hidden electrodes that slide deep into your ear canal. These devices are designed to measure electrical brain activity through EEG, along with muscle movements, eye movements, heart rate, and far more biosignals than anyone expected.
Not bulky lab equipment on your scalp. These sensors sit quietly inside and around the outer ear for superior accuracy with almost zero visible hardware and no annoying movement. The patent openly admits this setup delivers cleaner, more reliable brainwave data than ever before.
Picture this: While you listen to music, take calls, or scroll in silence, your AirPods are secretly mapping your brain activity. Every thought pattern, stress spike, focus level, emotional shift, and subconscious reaction could be captured and sent straight to Apple’s servers.
They will market it as helpful features like seizure alerts or advanced sleep tracking. But this technology opens the door to total neuro-surveillance on a global scale. Your most private mental data harvested 24/7 under the guise of a simple pair of earbuds.
Who really gets access to your brain signals? Apple? Their business partners? Governments? Or anyone willing to pay in the exploding neuro-data market?
Full patent details are posted in the comments below. Read it before the narrative changes.
What are they truly building with your mind?
Stay awake. Your ears may be the front line in the war for mental freedom. 🧠🔊

@funtomvids Here's the actual list :
time.com/collection/100…
Please highlight where Carney is listed as #2.
Don't just ask Grok for an incorrect answer.

English

🟥 Well, there is no need to say much here, is there? 🙂
The graphic speaks for itself. 🤷🏻♂️
Our Prime Minister, Mark Carney, is named by TIME as the 2ND most influential Global leader, after the Pope.
We chose the right leader, Canada. 🍁
Despite his critics' constant attempts at misinformation about Carney, the FACTS speak for themselves.
This coming decade is going to be the most significant for Canada in a very long time.
A positive RENEWAL of our policies, our economy, and our global influence. 🚀
(PS: Trump is down at number 13 on the list. 😌)

English

@funtomvids Oh, how ironic that @funtomvids talks about misinformation and FACTS.
The actual FACTS are Time DOES NOT rank the people on their list. Just look: time.com/collection/100…
The misinformation he spreads is the inaccurate information he's sharing, that can distort public opinion.
English

@funtomvids @shelery1 Why don't you link to the actual list directly from Time?
You know, the one that doesn't show ANY ranking or Carney being listed as #2.
Don't worry, let me....
time.com/collection/100…
You're welcome!
English

@shelery1 🙂 It clearly shows where it's from.
Not very bright, eh?
