China notified relevant governments before the missile test.
The missile carried a dummy warhead.
It landed in designated international waters.
It was a routine annual military training exercise and not directed at any specific country.
And still Japan, Australia and New Zealand act “alarmed.”
Funny.
If China conducting a missile test in international waters is “unwelcome,” then what do we call the U.S., Japan and their allies repeatedly sending warships through the Taiwan Strait to maliciously provoke China?
What do we call the Philippines dragging outside powers into disputes around China’s territory?
What do we call joint military exercises conducted by the United States and its lackeys in the South China Sea, endangering China’s territorial security?
What do we call U.S. allies repeatedly poking China’s sovereignty, militarizing its doorstep, and then pretending to be shocked when China shows capability?
They wanted China to stay quiet while they tested every red line.
China did not.
That is the real story.
The West calls it “destabilizing” only when China stops absorbing provocation politely.
They do not oppose escalation.
They oppose consequences.
