Jamie Lee Curtis explains why she refused to do a scene in Kathryn Bigelow's "Blue Steel" (1990) n*de even though it was in the script:
"I don’t have a beautiful body — I have a beautiful figure. There’s a difference. There’s a line to a woman that’s beautiful, the line of the shoulder, the shape between the breast and the waist. I’ve had a nice figure since I was 18. But I don’t have the sort of body you’d want to strip in the midday sun and ask to play volleyball.
I turn down half the scripts I get because of demands for n*d!ty. And I’ve talked my way out of another large percent. There was a gun fight in 'Blue Steel' (1990) — it was written as a n*de scene, but I said no way was I going to run around with a gun in my hand in the n*de. Everybody would be watching my breasts flopping around instead of watching the scene.
Ultimately, there’s very little n*d!ty in my work. It just so happens that I have a very nice figure, so any tiny glimpse gets blown way out of proportion.”

P.S: I am not posting that particular climax scene because it involves a lot of blood.

Matt Boldy is a stud, but boy was that a horrendous game from 12.
Just one of a handful of letdowns and failures from the Wild in Game 4.

@B7frankH Why is it always about color of skin? Black, white, blah, blah, blah.

You run out of words to describe what 87 means to 🇨🇦 and how much he’s given to the national team.

Game 4 No-Show
The Avs came to play in Game 4 and the Wild did not. On Game 5's literal "must-win," Hynes' pointed postgame comments, Boldy's tough series, the McCarron-Manson incident, the impact of the Eriksson Ek/Brodin injuries and Bednar's shrewd moves. @RussoHockey @AnthonyLaPanta

@JoeSmithNHL @nytimes Joe, who are they playing? Who did they just play. Tough route for any contender. They deserve better

Wild don’t act like contender in biggest game of season - why this performance could haunt them nytimes.com/athletic/72720… via @NYTimes

@PaulCharchian Charch, u r missing the point in my opinion. Going back to back against Dallas then Colorado is brutal.
English

Unpopular opinion: One round later, the Wild would have played the Avs anyway. Granted, I'd rather lose in the conference finals than the quarterfinals, but in the big picture, there was no avoiding Colorado.
Sam Block@theblockspot
The Minnesota Wild (104 pts) were the 3rd best team in the West this season. They should’ve played the 6-seed Mammoth (92 pts). Instead, they played the 2-seed Stars (112 pts)… and took care of business. Their reward? The 1-seed Avs (121 pts). Just absolutely ridiculous.
English

@DanMyers The Wild need to go get it. Its not one guy. If they get after it superstars will benefit. Zone entries, forecheck, special teams, etc. Boldy brings it every shift. Disagree with your expectation.

@DailyFaceoff @JLazzy23 @ColbyCohen36 @ProrasoUSA No. Durability has to play in if u r going to start a franchise. Bad take

@MikeJohnstonHC Unless u r a draft pick that plays right away, why would u want to be drafted and then stuck in the AHL for one team? Who cares?

A 16-year-old boy got off his school bus in Florida… and walked straight into an ambush.
Earlier that day, another student allegedly told him, “You’ll be seeing me later.” Kids on the bus were already warning him that something was coming.
Then the moment he stepped off the bus, a group of boys rushed him.
According to reports, 11 students from Wekiva High School attacked the teen near a bus stop in Ocoee, Florida. Witnesses say he was punched, kicked, and stomped while curled up on the ground trying to protect himself. Someone even stole his shoes during the attack.
The teen was knocked unconscious and later woke up in the hospital with swollen eyes, scratches across his body, and little memory of what happened.
His mother says she had already warned officials about threats leading up to the attack.
Now all 11 students involved are reportedly facing criminal charges, including battery and rioting, after the video spread online.
Absolutely disturbing situation. Parents really need to know what’s happening in some schools right now.
