That Mr. Lowe clearly understands Karl Popper's Paradox of Tolerance, and the inherent harm of tolerating the intolerant, is a significant moral win in his favour.

Britain is not an Islamic country, yet. We should not change our way of life to accommodate practices that have no place in any civilised society - sharia law, the burqa, halal slaughter, cousin marriage and more. Britain is a Christian country, and under a Restore Britain Government it would remain that way. We would not tolerate mass dominating Islamic prayer overtaking public spaces, entire schools would not be closed for Eid. None of this is controversial. None of this should generate hysteria. But of course it will. If a Muslim wants to live under sharia law, there are many countries to choose from. I wish them well on their travels. But this is Britain, and we have already tolerated the intolerable for too long. That must end. There is finally a political party that has the courage to unapologetically stand up and defend the British way of life - one that is absolutely rooted in Christianity. That party is Restore Britain.

We've fined 4chan £450,000 for not having age checks in place to prevent children seeing porn on its site.
The Online Safety Act is concerned with protecting people in the UK. It doesn't require platforms to restrict what people in other countries see.

Interesting to see the overlap between people who believe individual silent prayer near an abortion clinic is an act of deliberate intimidation, and people who believe mass ritual prayer taking over a public space is unworthy of comment.

Too many are too polite to say this. But mass ritual prayer in public places is an act of domination. The adhan - which declares there is no god but allah and Muhammad is his messenger - is, when called in a public place, a declaration of domination. Perform these rituals in mosques if you wish. But they are not welcome in our public places and shared institutions. And given their explicit repudiation of Christianity they certainly do not belong in our churches and cathedrals. I am not suggesting everybody at Trafalgar Square last night is an Islamist. But the domination of public places is straight from the Islamist playbook. Trafalgar Square belongs to all of us. It is a national memorial to our independence and our salvation. Last night was not like a televised football match or a St Patrick’s Day celebration. It was an act of domination and therefore division. It shouldn’t happen again.

@Raven__621 Don't stop there. Its not just fandoms, its ANY group that has currency in popular culture. Suddenly it explains politics, sports, religious growth, financial bubbles, design by committee, and a host of other problems.
A lot of people are fakers. A lot of people chase trends.

This isn't going to change until some people get investigated, tried, and jailed.

We have spent £180m on plans for a tunnel under Stonehenge.
The project is now scrapped.
You can be for a tunnel & think spending is a good idea (even if you think the cost of planning is silly).
You can be against a tunnel & think spending is a bad idea.
But *nobody* can be for spending on this scale with zero result.
And yet that is a peculiarly British outcome.
Nobody will be reprimanded. Nobody will see their career affected.
But that’s £180m of taxpayer money just wazzed up the wall. Totally without repercussions.
Multiply this by airport expansions & train route plans and Thames crossings and power stations and other examples you can think of yourself, and… soon you’re talking serious money.

Two types of JRPG styles I want more of:
1.) Modern settings (EarthBound, Yakuza Like a Dragon): City/Town exploration, eating hamburgers to restore HP, battling with baseball bats and slingshots.
2.) Sci-Fi (Xenosaga, Star Ocean): Space Exploration, Beam Swords, alien planets

@diggy_bang @GodCloseMyA10 @BrisLibDems Thats not how it works. The current Labour government got in with 34% of the vote. A significant proportion of which were immigrant voters. This is how First-Past-the-Post works.

@cjsnowdon Britain can afford all these things in themselves. What it cannot afford is the massive bloated bureaucracy which will attempt to make those three things as expensive as possible in the process of siphoning off a large fraction of all transactions for itself.

@ShangguanJiewen This something that China does right that it should do more of. Celebrating ethnic and cultural differences WITHIN the Chinese people. If the Chinese did this at their embassies it would raise more awareness and appreciation globally.

Guangxi gets a 4-day official holiday for the Zhuang ethnic group in March.
Because in China, minorities have their own holidays, and these are respected under the law.

I dunno if he is saying this, but I do notice a lot of YouTubers seem to hold off for the prevailing opinion before sharing theirs, in fear of having the "wrong" opinion.
Makes it hard for real discussions on any kind of topic.
Apple, for example, is notorious for cutting journalists off who dare criticize them even slightly.

Good God.
This is Sam Everett, he's a PE teacher that said "respect our laws or leave."
An independent panel investigated. Found he wasn't racist. Recommended he keep his job.
The Department for Education overruled them and banned him anyway.
This is what the establishment does to people who say what millions think.
