@Patrick_Crow7 @DoctorPerin I've never had any of those actually, except prescribed medications. I was put on Ativan when I was 14. And I was terrified to take it and terrified of anything interacting with it, so I never have even had a sip of alcohol. I used to freak out just thinking I had smelled pot.

@cspan It was obviously a picture of your run-of-the-mill, simple, country doctor who raises Lazarus from the dead.

@Dearme2_ I made a facebook account for my dog who passed away 10 years ago. I write him messages on facebook messages when I need to have something resonate with someone. I don't know anyone living to talk to where something lands with resonance.

@CoffeeBlackMD It also conveniently provides a diagnostic method when there is none (diagnosis via moral fortitude) and provides a treatment that is just as ambiguous (the passing of time). It's all faith based. I don't see medicine here. I see the religions I grew up in and the same judgment.

@CoffeeBlackMD When you posit that people with legitimate cases get better and those with illegitimate cases do not, it requires the same faith that Christian Science or Scientology do. Those who are dedicated to their method improve; those who don't didn't do it right.

The overlap in “long covid” and significant hypochondriac mental illness is very real. And you all know this based in the people you personal know with long covid. It’s like a personality trait. Always a victim. And boom. They get the Lon’vid too? What are those miserable chances? The odds that someone so screwed by everyone already also now had the Lon’vid. They already have constant pain. Chronic fatigue and there isn’t anything they can eat that won’t kill them via allergy or give them the looseiest of stools. Everything often neatly and meticulously recorded in a stack of notebooks that you can review. These people don’t have anything real going on other than a psychiatric disorder and this is why nothing works for them. And then there are the real cases. Which are also difficult with very little evidence that anything benefits (though every weird drug has been tossed at it). I think it’s often a relative mitochondrial dysfunction and will get better over time but is best fixed by exercise and sleep. I’ve read some promising experience with SS-31 and MOTS-c. And these people tend to be motivated to actually get better. The thing is to try to find a real case you have to wade through so much mentally ill bullsh*t brought by those that glom onto the diagnosis but don’t have it and they are exhausting.

@AmmousMD The prescribing information for every statin on the market includes a notice that statins have been known to cause cognitive issues including memory loss. It's not hidden.

@indexnforgetit My grandparents lived in a regal hunting lodge in Västmanland of Sweden that was used by Queen Christina. It dates to to the 1600s and has hundreds of acres of land. I am sick, bedbound, and live in squalor in a tiny room. Why my mother moved to the US is inexplicable.

Your grandparents bought a starter home But they never upgraded and just called it “home” This is the most spoiled entitled generation ever and it’s only getting worse
Nicki 🫧🪷@nickimoraa

Hot take: I shouldn’t have to buy a cheap duplex or “starter home” that doesn’t suit my needs to get into the housing market. I should just be able to buy a reasonably priced home with a good yard and a few bedrooms like my grandparents did and keep it forever.

@NeilFlochMD There are no other professions that I know of that had their trade group successfully lobby the government to pay for their professional training and limit the supply to protect earning potential. To then have the temerity to complain about being stretched thin is insulting.

@AnnCoulter Exactly. A true lady waits to be asked, such as a gentleman saying, "M'lady, may I offer you a facsimile of my phallus to lift your spirits today?" It's unbecoming of a lady to make the initial request herself.

@AnnCoulter My first question is: If you're too intoxicated to remember the night, how do you know he wasn't too intoxicated to consent either? The second would suggest something even more sinister, but it's: How do you even know it was he that you had sex with?

@Dr_Done_ There are all sorts of people who are doctors and all sorts who aren't doctors. "Doctors" named themselves that after the ones who aren't "doctors" in the sense that you use it.

@AnnCoulter And if the person really is a millionaire in their own right why would they spend a second let alone the onerous months and endless calls to get $20-50/month in food stamps?

@AnnCoulter There are so many instances of you decrying foreign wars and foreign immigrants because "we can't even take care of our own people," but a woman who's being beat up by her husband has the courage to leave and is without means and you want to kick her when she's down.

The entire welfare state is a scam. Millionaires can get food stamps by claiming to be victims of "domestic violence." (WHO MADE YOU MARRY THE GUY? Taxpayers didn't.) <<[RealClear Investigations] estimates that at least 5.9 million otherwise ineligible people are enrolled in food stamps through this loophole. They are also a major reason why at least one out of every $10 spent on food stamps is improper.>> Ann's Investigations estimates that the other $9 are improper, too.
