Speakers included sector experts, City Commissioners, and technical experts from corporates and research organisations. Experiences and studies from different parts of India were shared to help ULBs in Karnataka to remediate the dumpsites.

DMA in collaboration with @BORDA_Bremen and @TIDE_NGO organised a conference on 'Legacy Waste Management: Challenges and Way Forward' The conference focused on key challenges and technology options, experience sharing from other small and large cities, and policy interventions

Many shrines have done it, many cities have lead it. The daily “waste” emerging from most temples is bio-degradable and can be processed in-situ instead of travelling to far off waste processing plants or landfills. This is a welcome step lead by State Govt of Karnataka.

A workshop on SBM-U 2.0 was organised by DMA in collaboration with @mysurucitycorp. It was an interactive event attended by 10 city corporations, sector experts and DMA officials to discuss objectives and assess status of IHHL, CT/PT, ODF+. #GarbageFreeCites #SwachhBharatMission
