I wonder if things might have turned out differently for Liz Cheney if she'd used her seat on the 1/6 committee to insist on cross-examination of witnesses and a chance for the defense to present its side. Instead she led the charge for an utterly one-sided presentation.

@Morton1867 Years ago went thru the training to be a Casualty Assistance Calls Officer (CACO) in the Navy. One of the things they train you is to use dead/died and not some euphemism.

New nurse shadowed me breaking bad news this week & was quite surprised to hear me using the word “died.” Good discussion around potential issues of using passed away/they’ve gone etc… Fairly sure we now have another nurse ready to use appropriate, unmistakable language 👍🏼
