@peeps_ap Sure, but while numbers might win the race in raw speed, UUIDs and CUIDs offer global uniqueness and scalability that numbers can't touch. Sometimes, you need more than just speed "you need a solution that works everywhere, every time".

For databases that use B trees for indexing, the performance based on ID choice goes like number (autoIncrement) > CUIDs > UUIDs. UUIDS are as worse as it gets unless you use raw 32 bits binary for indexes

Came across "Quantum Bogo Sort": If you have an unsorted array [6,3,2,1,0], an alternative timeline must exist where this array is sorted [0,1,2,3,6]. If the technology is advanced enough we could teleport and switch to this alternative reality.
