Please share this live hacking video with your loved ones so they can see just how easy it is to fake caller ID (and even clone a voice) to demand money or data over a scam phone call. I’m hoping this demo helps even 1 person shut down a hacking attempt.

@MSFT365Status This is reminiscent of the debacle in January where Defender killed links on the start menu and taskbar. The trust is slowly ebbing away.....

We determined that recent additions to the SafeLinks feature resulted in the false alerts and we subsequently reverted these additions to fix the issue. More detail can be found in the Microsoft 365 admin center under DZ534539.

We're investigating an issue where legitimate URL links are being incorrectly marked as malicious by the Microsoft Defender service. Additionally, some of the alerts are not showing content as expected. Further details can be found under DZ534539 within the admin center.

Hey @Quad9DNS, seeing as @Sony wants to sue you over the ridiculous canna dot to mess, why not just "censor" their domains too? Maybe that will encourage them to get off their arse and call the .TO tld registrar to have that subdomain removed instead of attacking a non-profit...

@dunkindonuts why does your new ad show the new addition to the office, a woman, going on a coffee run? Why could it not have been a man?

Vendor support is not a replacement for staff competence. Microsoft cannot understand your environment in an hour call. Active Directory is legos with infinite superglue there's no telling what you've built.

@DougBarbin Some people really liked the simplicity of the ad. Criminals like to keep it simple too. It allows them to scale the scam better than Coinbase can scale their webservers.

@InfoSecSherpa My grandma used to write passwords in her diary. One letter on one page, a single number on another etc etc. This was before the advent of ubiquitous internet.

A well-known InfoSec person, who shall remain nameless, once chastised me publicly at an event because I said that a password book actually wasn’t the worst thing in the world, depending on threat model and user’s abilities. They have probably forgotten this. I haven’t. 👀
Melanie Ensign@iMeluny

My parents use something like this & I’m really glad they do. It means my parents & people like them can use unique, complex, & long passwords on every site because they don’t have to remember them. Until password managers are effectively designed for everyone, this is good.

@GovParsonMO Governor, the webservers of your state delivered those SSNs to the journalists browser. As you are the the head of the state, this makes you accountable.
