@cmcknz77 There is some evidence that turbulence in flight is increasing due to climate change. Equally forecasting where it will occur is improving. Turbulence outside of significant weather can be uncomfortable but not dangerous. Wear your seatbelt when seated 👍

@cmcknz77 It can be damped out of course but that is already done and passenger flights only get into any significant turbulence by chance as significant weather is always avoided.

@cmcknz77 Air is essentially a fluid and fluid dynamics apply, but it is more difficult to comprehend. However if you start to think about how you’d stop a ship moving on waves you quickly get close to the “let’s work on time travel as a new product” thinking.

@avgasaddiction Likewise Mark, I am posting very little here. There is some slow traction with the aviation community over on Threads. Platform is still developing but it’s quite pleasant to be there.

Here it is… my final #wingfriday before checking out of Twitter/X - it’s been lovely and believe it or not, it’s actually changed my life for the better in ways I couldn’t have imagined. I’ve most enjoyed the discussions, fun and community feel. Bots and pushed content less so

It seems by the time we landed they had realised that it was a very quite day for incoming submissions and twigged to look at the email!

This caused carnage! Despite having submitted by email Border Force tried to call while we were airborne having seen the flight plan but not checked the email platform for the form. Left a bunch of increasingly “pissy” messages…

Yup … done a manual one, thankfully have my bigger iPad with me and Excel
