TotalEnergies Under Siege Again? You know “Explore Kenya,” right? The TikTok content creator famous for interviewing Uber drivers? He recently bought a Mazda CX-5 and went to refuel at a TotalEnergies station. According to his caption, the car’s tank capacity is 56 litres. He asked for a full tank, but the pump kept going until it hit 63 litres. He claims it’s impossible and He is accusing TotalEnergies of selling more air than the notorious KEMSA COVID-19 supplies. The most common (and annoying) flow of LipaNaMpesa process is some waiter / clerk will ask to see the Mpesa code. Why on earth is the thing in such a tiny font? “Please can you hold the phone closer / sioni hiyo code” is something I’ve heard 3 of the 3 times I’ve paid with it. I don’t see how this would have not been flagged if actual users (and not just well meaning QA guys with the best of intentions) had been involved

Ok this Safaricom MyOneApp has … issues 1. You have to enter your PIN twice to use it - once at launch and again for whatever you want to do 2. Keeps asking to setup FaceID as if for the first time and then it forgets 3. Won’t allow access unless you’re on safcom data bundle 4. Forgotten every last of my favourites painstakingly built over the years 5. Various UI/UX gaffes The fundamental issue here isn’t really the execution. I have no doubt the team went to great lengths to design, build and test the app. The main issue here is very clearly the development and testing was done in isolation in a lab without meaningfully involving actual day to day users
