@bbcquestiontime So proud of our “rich”‘diversity in the UK that he chooses to live in Marlow, which has absolutely no diversity whatsoever, why doesn’t Tom move down the road to Slough so he can really enjoy it?!

“It is not the fault of immigration, it is the fault of poor spending” Chef Tom Kerridge says immigration is used as a “battering tool” by political parties to “push” a narrative and for “masking” policy failures, and he is “proud” of the UK’s “culturally rich” society #bbcqt

Manchester United (£1 billion in debt) plotting to buy #NUFC (zero debt) player for £100m tells you everything that is wrong with the current fiscal rules in football.

@indykaila @LFC This account is brilliant, 2 types of post: Type 1 - Predict something glaringly obvious, wait for obvious thing to happen, claim an exclusive Type 2 - Have no clue what’s happening, post something cryptic, later claim to have had exclusive knowledge but with embargo 🤣🤣🤣

@Rlufc96 Why can’t @SkySports understand that most people tune it to sport to escape from day to day stresses, and in particular the endless virtue signalling and identity politics that the media seem obsessed with.

@Anna_Soubry We can agree on one thing, the great British people are indeed “sick and tired”, in record numbers according to the those lazing about on sickness benefit, and who can blame them when @UKLabour are ready to reward them so generously!

@afneil Other than cost cutting, which I’m sure sits proudly in bold font on page 1 of the monthly board meeting PowerPoint, one questions how on earth BA measure success these days: Customer satisfaction ❌ Onboard Experience ❌ Market Share ❌ Brand Perception ❌ Employee pride ❌

Sure. It won’t make any difference. I don’t have the time to make up for your inadequacies. You have launched a fatwa on your loyal high paying customers for reasons best known to yourselves. I will have done six first class returns to NYC in the past year plus first class return to Sydney and numerous Nice-London business class. Yet I still won’t be able to renew my GGL Group O status. If I don’t qualify who does? No matter. I have gold for life which means I can always use your lounges. But instead of always travelling BA I will look for better more convenient deals with other airlines eg Nice to NYC direct, forget BA out of London. Why you would treat someone like me like that baffles common sense. But BA, not me, will be the loser, especially if I decide to broadcast my experience to my 1.2m X followers and on Times Radio and Mail columns. At the moment you’re a case study in an historic British brand gone badly long. I might make it my business to explain and expose why. You’re interesting as a business case study in stupidity. @britishairways

@afneil We're sorry to hear about your experience while travelling with us, especially as you were travelling in First, Andrew. You can request a refund of your Wi-Fi payment using this link: britishairways.com/travel/helpcen…. We value your feedback and will ensure your comments are passed 1/2

The new BA tier points structure sets impossible hurdles even for frequent flyers regularly using business or first. I have always planned my extensive and expensive global travel through London to use BA. These days are over. I will now use whatever airline is most convenient

@DeborahMeaden @DeborahMeaden how do you ignore the endless lies, u-turns, broken promises and hollow slogans (smash the gangs). If you want to appear credible, you need to strike a better balance in your analysis of the PMs performance so far.

@toryboypierce @British_Airways stopped investing in customer experience a long time ago, the owners are milking the brand to death. I recall the BA motto being “To Fly. To Serve.” Perhaps a more apt tagline would be “To Fly. To Starve.”

@AndyMitten The head coach is meant to make us more than the sum of our parts, at the moment the little United achieve you feel is DESPITE Amorin, not because of him. He is out of his depth and a change needs to happen soon, so we invest in a profile of player that fits the next coach.

Semenyo an exceptional attacker, 7g 3a in 15 PL games. £65m attractive for a player of his quality. But another attacker cannot be #MUFC priority. Team crying out for a mobile central midfielder. Focus finance on that now/summer. Semenyo a better fit for #LFC as Salah successor.

@DeborahMeaden I admire you Deborah, but if you believe the UK achieving net zero would inspire the likes China to change, I have a bridge to sell you. China hasn’t been “inspired” by our human rights, judicial, DE&I “leadership”, they will do what they always do, what is best for China.

@IainDale @afneil @bbclaurak @TrevorPTweets I don’t see how the Chancellor survives this, but even if Reeves pulled the trigger, she was ably assisted by the Prime Minister, who surely goes too; he either knew the truth and misled everyone, or he didn’t know and he is totally incompetent and unfit for office.

@GMB @susannareid100 @edballs Arrogant, smug, grinning liar, we are not stupid, own the broken promise, articulate the necessity to change the manifesto commitment instead of disrespecting the electorate by referencing small print. Enjoy the next 3yrs because you won’t be back for a generation!

Good Morning Britain
'If a Chancellor were to extend a freeze on tax thresholds, that would increase taxes on working people, wouldn't it?' - @susannareid100 Susanna and @edballs challenge Chief Secretary to the PM Darren Jones about Labour's manifesto pledge that they wouldn't raise tax on working people, ahead of the autumn budget where tax rises are expected.

@supertanskiii “Vicious Mysogyny”?! Think you might want to do some research, the media doesn’t care what gender Chancellors are, “spreadsheet Phil” (Hammond) “Boy George” (Osborne) spring to mind. The criticism has no relation to gender, and is all about incompetence, as it should be!!

The vicious misogyny being thrown at Rachel Reeves, our first female chancellor is sickening but entirely predictable. I’m not her biggest fan, but I have no doubt that a right wing male chancellor would be treated differently.
