@12gee_man If she's trying to say that the art is more important than the money, I get that. But movies need to make money, or they stop making them. That's how they justify employing thousands of people, it's a business.

Kristen Stewart explains why she’s okay with her movies not making money “We need to find new terms for all of this because the language is oppressive, the structure is oppressive, and there are barriers.” “I don’t care about it being like a successful businessman thing. My mind doesn’t go there.” “I love the movie like I birthed it… it’s having a relationship with the world totally on its own.” “The movie’s going to have its own life.” “It’s totally okay for the movie not to make money. It’s okay for some people to love it, for some people to hate it.” Jesse Eisenberg: “Sometimes people don’t like your kid. That’s cool.”

Kara Swisher and Scott Galloway are shocked that Zohran Mamdani actually meant it when he said “Billionaires shouldn’t exist.” Why did they think he would stop once he won? Scott Galloway: “The reason people move to New York is they think, ‘I want to be successful… and no one’s going to get in my way if I’m really talented and work hard.’ We’re going to celebrate it. We're not going to say you've done something wrong because you're successful.” Kara Swisher: “He’s already won and I’m not sure why he’s doubling down with a losing move.”

Someone just emailed a five-minute Seedance 2.0 sci-fi pilot to twenty-three streaming executives as a finished cut. No pitch deck. No lookbook. Just the file and one line: "This is the pilot. There is no team" Nineteen didn't open it. Three forwarded it to legal. One called at 11pm and asked a question that made me put my phone down "How do I buy this without my board finding out how it was made?" A desert planet. A female android with circuits glowing under her skin. A dialogue scene that holds for thirty seconds without a face breaking. A warship landing with thrust smoke. A crowded lounge with forty people. A crime boss with glowing tattoos delivering a monologue to camera Cast: zero. Crew: one. Budget: a monthly subscription! The executive who called told me his company spent $6.2 million on a pilot last quarter that didn't look this good. He said if his investors saw this clip, they'd ask why he has a staff of ninety "I need this to not exist publicly for at least six months" It exists publicly now I've been tracking every creator who crossed from demo to deliverable. If you're not here when the list stops being short, someon

Tesla Sentry Mode captured three suspects trying to steal a Dodge Charger outside a Dallas movie theater. The owner deliberately parked beside a Tesla for protection, and it recorded everything, including a clear view of one suspect’s face. Dallas Police are investigating.

Roadster doesn't need to sell well. These cars don't have any meaningful impact on financials, they serve as halo cars for the entire fleet and show how capable Tesla engineering is. All they need to do is give people an option to have a Tesla with the roof off that can self-drive, beat any other car on the road and maybe have some cool unique features. And yes I do also think they should sell a proper 7 seat SUV, but they don't need to give up the Roadster for it.

Make a proper SUV and just abandon the roadster. 🤷‍♂️ I realize it's an unpopular opinion but I think they should just cancel the roadster and move on. They'll get a bit of bad press when it happens - but then Tesla can move on with life. Right now unless the roadster can fly you to mars, people will inevitably be disappointed. There is just no way they can match expectations... The car will not sell well (mainly due to the likely high price) so Tesla is burning all this time and resources for something that they will never see an ROI on. The only silver lining I can see the roadster having is there will be a lot of technical innovations - but I am not sure if that's worth it.

As expected, the driver is blaming FSD for the crash, according to Issaquah Police🤦‍♂️ "During the investigation officers learned the Tesla was in Full Self-Driving Mode when it suddenly swerved into on-coming traffic. Thankfully no injuries were reported." Here's a photo from behind the Model X, showing what's left of the cabin.

This is wild! Last week it was a Cybertruck split in half, now the same has happened to a Model X in Issaquah, Washington. From a witness - “Somehow the Tesla made contact with another vehicle, veered off into the ditch. The sheer weight, and velocity of the Tesla as it crashed in the ditch made the vehicle break into two parts. The speed limit on the road is only 35 mph. Seems as though everyone involved is OK.”

Tesla stock will eventually have its day, but I must say, after owning a Model Y for 6 months, the self-driving technology is nothing short of magic. FSD just drove through a torrential downpour on and off highways, with indecisive drivers all around. Never felt safer. Was a pleasure to watch the car calculate every move it needed to make for ultimate safety and smoothness. If you don't own a Tesla, may I recommend you highly consider it as your next vehicle, as well as for your aging parents, or disabled friends, if you have them. Manual driving is quickly becoming obsolete. I will never own any other car. You've really outdone yourselves @Tesla_AI @Tesla Extraordinary work. You will save and change millions of lives.

This one is special. These are the moments that the Tesla team can take pause and realize how much they’ve accomplished and how much it means. Rena has Young Onset Parkinson’s disease at 39 years old. You wouldn’t know it if you saw her because she’s not only gorgeous but in great shape. But symptoms can come on quickly and medication’s may not be in your back pocket when you need them. These are the situations that Tesla Self Driving can make the difference between someone not making it home vs. arriving safely. Rena’s not going to risk her life or the safety of her three children to a sudden health emergency. She’s a VIP lifetime member of Club Tesla. She’s never going back to the past. Can’t wait to see her engage her first unsupervised trip sometime in the not too distant future. For the all of those at @Tesla, @Tesla_AI this is the legacy you are creating. The advancement of life-saving real world technology. Now watch the video closely. The second she’s able to touch the screen with her shaking hand and engage FSD you see the instant relief come to her face that she knows she’s in good hands. She knows she’ll get home safely. We aren’t just here to mark time. The future can be incredible for everyone. I have requested her Tesla referral link and I can’t wait to post it here in the comments and I’ll be making a fresh post as well.

@wholemars 💯 been saying this You are risking turning people off to EVs for another generation by recommending the wrong one. It's important to recommend the best ones with the best experience.

That’s my problem with “we need to support all EVs”. We need to tell people to get a good one. You wouldn’t say “we need to support all AI models” and recommend people use the bad ones. You would recommend the best. You wouldn’t say “we need to support all movies” and recommend people watch bad ones. So when people ask us for our EV recommendations, it’s okay to only recommend the good ones.
