Dr. Rubeliz Bolivar Barrios was completing her residency in South Texas when ICE locked her away. Her colleagues call her Ruby. They say that as an emergency and trauma doctor, she serves every patient with empathy and dedication. Being bilingual, she makes people feel seen and heard. In the middle of a healthcare provider shortage in the Rio Grande Valley, it is unthinkable that ICE would keep Ruby locked away. Her 5 year-old daughter Milena and husband need her home. Her patients need her too. ICE should release Dr. Barrios immediately and allow her to continue her work helping people.

@TaylorRMarshall We take our kids to baseball, public pools, and county fairs all the time. Block parties, not so much. You just need to live the life.

I'm watching the film “Sandlot” with our kids and just realized that the film’s version of America with baseball, public pools, county fair, block parties, etc is almost extinct.

@EmpireEnjoyer3 HIMARs is smaller and much easier to transport - its about mobility vs a tracked vehicle. B21s have lower payload but more unrefueled range and will be procured in much larger numbers. Columbia class .... you have good point.

I’ve noticed this trend in military weaponry, why is the HIMARS less capable than the M270 it’s replacing? HIMARS can carry 2 precision long range missiles while M270 can carry 4. This plays out the same with the B21 replacing the B2 bomber. B21 has 1/3 the payload capacity as the B2. Same thing with submarines, the Columbia Class carries less missiles than the Ohio Class 24 vs 16. We are being robbed by defense contractors.

DD Duggan likely flew up for some quick pictures and videos, but didn't even bother to get their hometown university's name right and no one on his team caught the mistake! Yoopers know the difference. It's like refering to U of M as the "College of Michigan," or MSU as "Michigan State College."

@thewoolshire It's really stupid what they are doing replacing leather, especially since hides are something you get nearly free after harvesting cattle for meat. Yes, hides must be tanned, but you get the hides anyway.

Our family was looking at buying a new car for our growing family. New cars emit a lot of VOCs, so we were looking for a natural leather option. Found out that most new cars don't even have a real leather option anymore. The 2027 Telluride for example - even for their nearly 70k car -entirely synthetic. Looks like we need to go back to the old days.
