At $4/gallon in 2008 it took about 24 minutes of work for the average Walmart worker to buy a gallon of gas. Today at $4/gallon it takes about 13 minutes of work for the average Walmart worker to buy a gallon of gas. Gas is roughly 45% cheaper relative to wages. ExPeNsIvE!!1!

@Polymarket This would be fine and dandy but it comes with 1.5 trillion dollar budget for defense. Good luck with that message in the midterms.

I can't wait until Operation Epic Fury is finished, and - Iran is no longer a threat to anyone - Iranian citizens are celebrating in the streets - The Strait of Hormuz is open - Gas prices are lower than they were a month ago Then everyone can just shut the fvck up.

Trump has proposed a $1.5 trillion defense budget — a 40% increase, the largest since WWII. In exchange for more war he wants to: -Cut the EPA budget by half -Cut $10.7 billion for housing -Cut $8.5 billion for K-12 programs -Cancel $15 billion for clean energy -Cut $2.5 billion for clean drinking water -Eliminate $1.6 billion for youth job training -Cut $3.5 billion from the Labor Department -Eliminate $395 million for senior employment -Eliminate $775 million in food assistance grants -Eliminate the National Endowment for Democracy -Cut $5 billion from the National Institutes of Health -Eliminate the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) In all, cuts to domestic programs would account for a 10% reduction in discretionary spending.

The corruption within the Trump administration has demoralized me in a way my enemies never could. Our enemy is evil. They serve the demons. We know what we are up against. Fighting them is virtuous. Treason and betrayal hit differently, it always does.

Tom, You’re a sitting US Representative, please try to preserve a sliver of dignity. There is an ongoing criminal trial in this case and the individual in this case is a US citizen entitled to due process. Your relentless bloviating and absurd public commentary on an ongoing, very serious, criminal matter, which you know little to nothing about (by choice), is beneath the office you hold. It’s bizarre that you continue to claim to be a supporter of liberty and the Constitution, while acting like a Soviet era communist.

Former Capitol Hill Police Officer / current CIA employee Kerkhoff was a person of interest & failed a lie detector test, before the famous Blaze article was published. Looks like defamation suits FBI DD Bongino told me he would personally finance against reporters are a bust.

@GrindeOptions I also think our military has been exposed - shows how vulnerable our assets are in this asymmetrical type of war. How these little 10K drones can do millions of dollars in damage.

So let me get this straight. - Iran keeps the regime. - Iran keeps missiles. - Iran keeps uranium. - Iran gains more leverage over the Strait. And Trump gets to puff out his chest, yell “victory,” and sprint for the exit. What exactly did the West win here? Because from where I’m sitting, this looks less like strength and more like theater. The kind where everyone claps at the end, even though the building is still on fire. - Russia is watching. - China is watching. - North Korea is watching. And the lesson they are learning is not that America is unstoppable. It is that America talks big, hits something, declares success, and then looks for the nearest door. That is what a paper dragon looks like.

A paper dragon doesn’t destroy an entire airforce and navy while strategically killing 50 key leaders and 15k+ soldiers without ever putting a boot on the ground🤦🏻‍♂️🤡 yall got some weird ass takes here lmao. No matter how much you try to spin the narrative, this is a military strategic victory. Especially considering everyone including Iran said “they were not Iraq” and could destroy America with ease… America lost 13 troops and 5 jets lmao. That is a total lopsided victory.

Trump is doing business and you think he's losing the war. The US has enough oil and as a matter of fact, the US daily oil production is the highest globally. Trump went ahead and secured Venezuela's oil. But France, China, India and other EU members are buying from the middle east. Iran threatened world peace and Trump intervened. Iran went ahead and closed the Strait of Hormuz. Trump called on NATO and other middle east oil customers to assist with the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz. They ignored him. Now Trump is thinking of ending the escalation with the Strait of Hormuz still closed. Leaving two options on the table. * Come and buy your oil from the US. OR * Go to the middle east and open the Strait of Hormuz by yourself. A win-win situation for Donald Trump and the US.

@Jack_McClendon Heavy doses of wishful thinking. If Iran owns Hormuz, Iran now has undue influence over oil prices -- and little incentive to see them drop too quickly.

The amount of people on this platform who think that oil prices are going to go down if Trump declares victory, walks away, and cedes control of Hormuz to Iran is flabbergasting to me.
