@alexaismyname2 Too much Phyllis! I'm tapping completely out. Her voice grates my nerves. I can't listen to her. It's at a point where I can only bare to see her face maybe once a week. YR can do better.

Tennessee eliminated majority-Black Memphis in one vote. Florida flipped 4 seats with new maps. Alabama got Supreme Court approval. South Carolina eliminated Clyburn’s seat. Virginia’s voter-approved map struck down 4-3. Six states. Same week. Same playbook. Jeffries is right.

Respectability politics has never worked for Black people — and it never will with people who don’t respect you to begin with. For years I’ve been told to change my approach. Today I challenge those in leadership to consider that the approach they’ve been using got our s*** stolen. The strategy now has to be to take something back from them — power.
